Ruck 'N Roll

Hi everyone,

Please excuse the indulgence, but have read the music board on here a bit and thought few people might be interested in a podcast I've been doing with Uncanny X-Men lead singer (and man-about-town) Brian Mannix and our long-time mate and radio pro Kevin Hillier.

It's called "Ruck 'n Roll", and it's a 30-minute long weekly excursion into sport, music and just general insanity. It's also great fun (usually at my expense), probably the most enjoyable thing I've ever done professionally.

We've been going a couple of months now, and the last few weeks have concentrated on doing lists of our Top 20 songs of all time, revealing five each per week.

This week's episode is Nos. 10-6, with the big one next week, after which we'll probably have to start talking more crap again.

Really enjoyed the top 20 lists, good stuff!
You always learn songs you haven't thought of in ages or you've never heard by hearing other people talk about it.

That's what was great about the John Peel show in the UK in the past, he'd get bands/artists to list their favourites and it's a good insight into people's influences.

Welcome to my podcast house, then underneath says Ruck and Roll, but nothing to click on and can not open anything.

Keen to give it a listen but tried last week and just tried again now with no luck.

I am no tech wiz kid, but no luddite either. Work on a computer all day and normally have no trouble finding podcasts.

Hi Jim, that's weird, just tried the link and it worked fine. You should see this (attached) when you click on link and just hit play on the mini-player. It's also available on iTunes if that helps.

The link did still not work for me, but got it through iTunes, thanks.

Up to episode 3 now and enjoying it. Brian really is very inappropriate, but seems like such a nice guy, that he gets away with it.

I listen every week Rohan. Have not had the chance to listen to this week's yet, because I am working my way through 80 pages of a thread about political correctness gone mad ! You would love it

Can highly recommend. Some very funny listening. Is a great podcast, but should be an hour long.
