This is a really nice set. Innovative and fresh. I don't like the red as much as I like the navy, but I do like the continuity between the two kits. Don't know if you follow union too much Craegus, but what are your thoughts being a New South Welshman?

Well as a New South Welshman and a Waratahs supporter here is what I think,

The designs have potential, but overall I am not a fan. The Sponsor integration for the Tahs over the last couple of seasons have really hurt the designs, but after so long having great integration with HSBC, I guess it was inevitable that this would end, but the white box behind the Daikin logo just looks terrible. I am not a fan of the boxes on the design as they have no real meaning and the random red ones just make no sense. Add to that the use of a smooth waratah on the back when the rest of the jersey features blocks just doesn't make sense. I am happy that the alternate will not be seen much as it just doesn't look good at all, it had potential but the randomness of those red blocks and the general design just kill it.

Overall I was much more of a fan of last seasons kits, I would have bought one if it wasn't for the lack of the actual sponsor and its replacement with the "Playing for NSW" logo. The best design would have been the shoulders and sleeves of this years home with the body of last seasons.

That "Suncorp" is placeholder text, right? Also, 4 XXXX logos on one jersey is quite the achievement.

1) I think that Suncorp's new logo which will be launched next year
2) XXXX have always had the most logos on the Maroons jersey, but they've never held the front-of-jersey position... that's always been someone else.

The Lebanon flag is on it. I'm happy. I still feel sorry for the Irish players who are now from Africa apparently.

They couldn't leave out the powerhouse that is Ivory Coast

Warriors absolutely nailed it this year. They got the perfect blend of heritage and modern design.
The Warriors nail it every year. They rarely have a shit design, their colours work perfectly, and they pull it off really tastefully too

I agree, but I definitely think this is their absolute best heritage shirt. Best of both worlds, club heritage, Maori heritage. Perfect.

Objectively they look great, but the encroaching navy every year disappoints. There was something really special about the all-red kit we won the title with in 2011.

The navy crept further and further into our jerseys from the late-90s on. Sooner or later, they'll have us wearing this again…

Wow. sun wolves went from having the BEST kit in Super Rugby to one of the Meh-est.

Indeed, and considering they only used it for one season and they haven't changed the CCC template for this new one, I can see this as pointless; with the exception of making money of course. I reckon they should have gone one more year with these and maybe introduced a new third kit for this year. I would prefer it if teams would at least go for two seasons with a kit. But, these are the times we live in.

It's a shame though, the SunWolves had one of the few "picture-graphic" jerseys that I've ever really liked.

Bit biased of course but I believe the Warriors of any club out there push the boundaries of sublimation technology every year. Means they are the jersey hoes of Australasia but also little wonder why they outsell every team in NZ (including the All Blacks as well as every Super Rugby club put together) and the NRL by a long shot...
