Can anyone confirm that Matt Robertson has been appointed coach of Trafalgar? Also heard a whisper that Yarragon have spoken to Hayden Burgiel as a prospective playing coach for 2010? Can anyone confirm this?
i can tell you im not joking spoke to one off these guys yesturday at a confrence in melb and he confirmed to me that he was playing at a certain club next year and his good mate was also heading to another club and would be playing against each other next season.
Considering Chandler was on here the other day asking who had left Nilma, I implied from that no-one had left yet. If he ever comes back maybe he can confirm/deny the rumours himself.
They would be huge losses, without either one of those guys the grand final probably would have fell the other way, and definitely would have without the two of them.

Not sure about canny but i would find it unlikely for him to be playing at warragul next year. He plays cricket for them but that is pretty much a saturday only thing.
As for chandler at moe this is rumoured every year as he works there and makepeace is coach, who in the area would you learn more from, no decision has been made.

why would cann go to warragul? to play with his mates from cricket. are any of them playing at warragul (footy) this season? no. probably not. also doubt he would play under fusanato.

Paul Harvey from Yarragon is rumoured to be heading to Morwell East. A few other Yarra boy's are apparantly going to Hill End also. What is happening at the home of the panthers??? Run out of money I believe!

I didn't realise he was playing there as well. I hear they have also signed Matt Tanner from Congupna. Dargo could well be a force to be reckoned with.

Apparently they have got him a position in Dargo doing some office work with a sports store which is in turn paying for his footy!!!!
If you ever go to dargo you would know why he would want to live there...pretty much a hidden paradise set on the river.
Dargo are looking on the up this year, long term coach Chris Minard is doing wonders.

Plugger Minard has been the heart and sole of the Stingrays for many a year.
Good to see the town of Dargo finally putting back into the club. For years it has been the walnut festival and the pub as the only sponsors. The rays are the only club i know with Bundy on tap!
Big Lush will go well for Dargo in the ODFL. A quality ruckman that will be suited to the ray's small ground.
Also heard that big T-Ron will nominate The rays as his home club if he misses SANFL selection. Lush and Trav would make a formidable line-up.
Does the ODFL have a salary cap?

Really? Didn't think he would ever leave Catani. Might be pissed off at the way he was used in the Prelim Final against Cora Lynn. Don't think he had a kick for the day.
went to the buln meet the coaches night last friday night at there club rooms,went with a couple of there new recruits from doveton, boy what a place the joint was packed and there club rooms i would have to say apart from say pakenham would be up there with the best i couldnt tell you if they had any new players there apart from the 5 boys from doveton and there was a new one from warragul only know his nickname moonas ?or something simaliar but he can drink some piss.
