You forgot about the netballer's Leo?Your thoughts on them? .Did my knee on the shit ground did all the pre-season and lasted 5 mins.

chandler is ass coach at moe, kane martin is playing back at sale and phil harris is over in WA as his oldman is sick and probably wont be back
 
So Harris, Martin, Chandler, probably Bergels and Michael are gone. Big losses, dont think darnum can win again if they cant replace those 5.

I reckon NNG for the flag next year, good side and with Oldmeadow, Dore and Mconnel will be tough to beat.
 
Little more info on David Ivey? Is he playing/non playing? What club is he from?

You are right that NNG should be flag favourites leo, but we all know they are chokers. They haven't won a final for 30 years.
 
Yeah he played at darnum up forward and on the ball. Coached Cowwarr to there first premiership in years in 2006, was a star for Heyfield and played in the VFL before that.

Went back to sale and won the league goalkicking (i think) for sale in 08 when they won the flag.

Are you just trying to wind up the NNG supporters on here with that comment? I remember a while ago in another thread you saying that you didn't think that they had choked.

The club has only played in 3 senior finals since it won its last premiership in 1980. Those 3 finals were however all losses and were the 2nd semi and prelim in 08 and the elimination in 09. Don't think they choked, just weren't good enough. Hopefully with what has been recruited they might be a bit more prepared at that time of the year.

They choked top of the ladder and lost 2 finals. Probably even money with cora lynn in the first but clear favourites against LL and Dusties and lost. Losing 1 final is bad luck, 3 is a choke.

Its funny how NNG's strength is also their weakness come finals time.

Young inexperienced and lightly framed kids just dont stand up in finals games.

However, with their recruits for 2010, they will be very,very good and will probably play off.
 
Canny has fielded calls from 8 EDFL clubs. Chandler also quite a few, including Buln, Yallourn Nth, Hill End to coach, to name a few.

Spoke to Duck on thursday evening. Moe is not a forgone conclusion. He is still considering a couple of coaching jobs. IF he coaches somewhere I will probably go with him.

gee plugger i thought you were a loyal darno man but i must be wrong when the season looks to be a tough one you will run away will you? why in the hell would chandler want you to fellow him?
 
The coming season wont be as tough for Darnum as you think. Ivey has a list of players to replace those that leave. I would think Darnum will be in the top 4 again.

I on the other hand have decided to call it a day at the club. After 15 years, I might have earned that. Looking forward to standing on the hill drinking cans and eating hotdogs at Moe.
