If Jeremy Howe wanted to get drafted then he would have moved to a TSL/Premier League club sooner, when he was younger and had a chance to make it.

Sure, the new mature age recruit policy that is in vogue with AFL clubs might give him a lifeline. But the amount of hype from Dodges Ferry people over him a few years back was unbelievable. And yet he still stayed there. No chance getting drafted from Dodges.

Jem Howe will be drafted. He has absolutely smashed the testing over recent weeks, he has the perfect build to make it and he will just flash his highlights package and clubs would jump on him. He is a far far far better footballer than Jacob Gilbee and he looks like getting drafted. Howe finished 3rd in Hobarts B&F played predominately at full forward but also has played a bit on ball and won his fair share. I remember seeing in round one play at CHB and destroy Gardham after he kicked 6 in the first half. He is a utility with super talent. Has all the attributes to get drafted he just needs to get his mind right. But he will be drafted.

How is your clubs Government IT bloke going? The one at my local club said he found out you're a bloke who battles in the twos.

FWIW, I think your comments on Jem are fair enough. ALthough he has started to come good against good opposition. It's not easy to play as a forward when you're side is getting their arse kicked and the delivery isn't real good.

stoppage, he was a lot more than just a contributor. His placing in the B&F shows that.

I agree with both of you, however you have contradicted yourself JS, you said it's hard playing in a team where the delivery is poor and the side gets their ass kicked, so your suggestion that the side is shit????? So really if he was to be half decent, he should be up around the top 5 in the B&F, cause if he wasn't, then there would be seriously something wrong given the side isn't that good, i have only taken that from what you have said.

Would it have to be from Clarence to count?

If he's fit then will be interesting, but good luck getting him on the park.

Has be played a game at any level in 2 years??

Bit early isn't it? What were they up to?
My understanding is it one night a week @ this stage and just light stuff like touch footy. These pages have suggested Cassidy from Hobart, Waller from Dodges and I've heard rumors that a couple of Clarence premiership players might be going there, any sign of new signings Bernie?

I did see 2 from Dodges, 1 from Sorrel and 1 from Triabunna out there.
I dont know their names.

Trent Whitelaw to coach OHA and Laycock in discussions with Glenorchy. They tell me they hope to make an announcement early next week
Heard that Nth, Clarence and Hobart also have been in contact with Laycock. Jessie Wells to return to Burnie sounds strange, unless they have a job for him, that is why he came to Hobart isn't it, some guarenteed work?? Good idea of Winter's to have Oct 1 sess per week, 52 would include juniors I would suggest, mainly juniors at that I would imagine. Cassidy would look pretty funny in red and black with his red hair wouldn't he:eek:

I think you will find he was never going there, would have to find a new employer if he did more from what I have been told?
