Have just finished listening to the episode Keeper of the Keys in the Missing Campers podcast. Carol Clay’s daughter, sister and friend have read their powerful Victim Impact Statements to the court. They were all so gut wrenching to hear. They shared what a remarkable and wonderful woman Carol was. Russell’s family and friends won’t be afforded the same opportunity due to Lynn being found not guilty of his death.
The sentence Lynn receives will never be enough for Carol and Russell’s family and friends.
I just hope Justice Churcher imposes a life sentence with no opportunity for parole.
Rot in hell Greg Lynn.

Love the title of Sly's article in the Age today, great read too...
Last 2 para's sum up what should happen tomorrow:

Justice requires this justice to add a severe loading for the cover-up, the deliberate, methodical and self-serving destruction of the crime scene. Otherwise, it will be a green light to others.

The court owes Lynn the same level of compassion he showed Carol Clay. The jury found him to be a cold-blooded killer, and he should be treated accordingly.

Couldn’t have said it better. A bit to go and Croucher bent over backwards to give the defence every opportunity. The jury has spoken its verdict must be respected

Scheduled to start in 28 minutes, here's the link.

Already on it. How long does a sentencing take usually? I imagine Justice Croucher will give a brief summary of the case, his views on it, hand down a penalty and then an explanation for his decision.

Is this how it goes usually? I have never watched one of these before.

IIRC the Claremont killer's sentencing went for about half an hour or more. He was convicted for two of the three murders he was charged with.
