I've followed this club since the early 70s and never seen a PAFC side with more soft players. Burton has plenty of mates but is a standout.

Absolute liability. Disgrace to the jumper with his laziness and inability to be bothered doing any form of defending.
If you reward poor effort with continual selection , this is what happens to players.

He's never been a particularly good defender aside from that one season (2022?) where he was decent. He's a nice clean player who marks well and kicks well but he's as soft as they come.
Stick him forward or drop him. To much of a liabilty down back.

Willing to consign McEntee, Evans, Dixon and Jones to the greyhound annihilator permanently but I would still like to see Burton under a different coach. He's useless right now though.
Yup I agree, seems immobile and lacks ability to run.
He's running in quicksand, I doubt he's injured as Ken says he doesn't select injured players.
We was OK on the weekend but he is a net negative.
I have a real issue with Burton and his lack of accountability as a defender and sometimes even at stoppages.
Good opposition coaches exploit him like a Chinese peasant on the 996.

In all seriousness, I think everyone can see that he's a highly skilled player but his toughness has been questioned for at least a few years now. At times his defending can be really quite comical, literally looks like he isn't even trying.
