Round 5 sees the return of Rivalry Round, celebrating some of the most intense rivalries in the history of the Sweet FA. From the Foundation Cup clubs the Demons and the Wonders, through to the recent antipathy between the Bombers and the Hawks, the tribalism of the SFA clubs has bred and nurtured some ferocious rivalries.

East Side Hawks vs Baghdad Bombers at Waverley Park ​

One of the most fierce and intense rivalries of recent times was the enmity between the Baghdad Bombers and the East Side Hawks. These two sides go back to Season 6, when the Hawks joined the fledgling league, and their very first game was against the then-BigFooty Bombers

The rivalry continued through the S9 Grand Final, comfortably won by the Bombers, and resulted in some unforgettable clashes in S23 and S24, between @KohPhi’s Bombers and The Filth Wizard’s Hawks; seasons in which the Hawks dominated the competition and culminating in the S24 Grand Final, which featured tony Lynn 15’s famous 151 DT points haul.
