I haven't mastered it, but I have the rare ability, off a three or four step run-up - to bowl a spinning bouncer.

Numerous times I've trundled in, gently rolled the arm over and had someone expecting something they can hit over the fence - ducking or fending as if it were the West Indian quicks in their heyday - with a ball that leaps up at the jugular.....

It'd be good if I could do it regularly - but it's more of a random comedy ball than anything... More embarrassing for the batsmen than anything... Why is he lying on the ground to a spinner ???

I must (occasionally) spin it in just the right way to catch the seam or something and it leaps up at the batsmen...
