Welcome all to our main event of Round 16, two heavy weights of the competition come head-to-head in what looks to be a MUST win match for both sides. As your league expert, lets have a bit of a 'PMBangers deep dive' to see what this week may look like!
FORM LINE
Everything's coming up Roys recently as they've won their last 4 fixtures heading into the bout, whilst the Furies have managed 3 losses from their previous 5 games. It's hard to guarantee that these will continue given the strength of both sides at various points this season, but the betting types are HEAVILY backing the Roys to land a knockout blow.
STRONGEST HITS
The Furies have a couple of strong moves in their arsenal, with their 'Twin Tower' Combo of Ned_Flanders and ImissFrosty difficult to get past when on the defensive, whilst Brunswick Trap King is a killer blow in their attacking group. Carson Dial can sub on anywhere and do some damage as well
The Roys aren't short on big hits either, Mobbs, Dingster, Wosh, Cats_R_Cool_4_Ever, Mooch and TedDougChris are all damaging when given free reign, and the Furies will need some of their weaker areas to step up to contain them
THE BUILD UP
There'll be a lot of barbs thrown out verbally in the build up, these two are vocal but not often vicious. While some representatives from both sides will want to rip into each other, it seems more likely the two will give each other forehead kisses prior to the bout.
SPECIAL MENTION
Mooch is just 1 goal behind Fred Medal leader Proper Gander and will have his work cut out for him to get a good tally against Ned_Flanders, this punter certainly isn't backing him to overcome the 1 goal defecit, but stranger things have happened....
