Doesn't help that this band started in the 60s as the great Jefferson Airplane, and 2 iterations and shared members later became the turgid Starship.

SOW, I just got finished rewatching Gimme Shelter and learned something new from the credits:

George Lucas was one of the cameramen at the Altamont Speedway.

Unfortunately, his camera jammed after only shooting about 100 feet of film, so none of his footage made it into the movie.
