RooDog said:i think this is one of the worst comments ive read, what scott has to say is true and i think you boys are a little blinded by your SHC love for Elliot. The guy is a fantastic footballer dont get me wrong but i wouldnt be surprised if he is over looked, he doesnt have any stand out abilities like blokes like a Jace Bode who can kick the ball 60m and is a very solid boy already...
Scottroo said:Correct, he reminds me of adam bentick from carlton...he captained calder cannons to a premiership in 2003, everyone thought he'd get picked up but got overlooked and was picked up via the rookie draft

hey scottroo how about u blow just a bit more sunshine up adam forsters ****.Scottroo said:Nick Forster is God thread....
couldnt have put it better colin, elliot is gun, but there are so many like him out there eg hurley, davey, smith....if elliot went to a different school he wouldnt get half the hype he does, having said that he is a top blokecolin custard said:its obviously a bias comment saying that 3 of your players will get drafted. shc could easily not have one player drafted.
i agree with scottroo, elliot is a very good player, but he has got nothing speical about him that midfielders need to have to get picked up in this day and age. obviously he has his good points such as: exceptional in close, strong over the footy, good composure, but in contrast, he has numerous downsides to his game such as: not quick, not great skills, not great aerobic capacity, which are things a player of his size has to have to get drafted.
in saying that, i still think he is a very good player who is a good chance of being drafted, but not a certainty.
to the SHC guys is michael cilento the guy i played on for a while (did most of the kicking in) and y the hell is sam elliot or jed kenny in that top 5, they are both better than all of those guys bar maybe buttonThe Glass Lake said:My predictions....

coldfish99 said:gotta agree with the glass lake, A Forster only umpires because he cant play footy to save his llife, so he comes on here to pay out others because hes jealous he wont have nearly as much skill as most people who post on here. **** off to an umpires thread and leave the footy talk to actual footy players
RooDog said:pretty hypocritical comment considering i played the same level of school footy as you so perhaps you shouldnt comment either then....

Flying Joey said:i think this forum especially harbours some people with wat is called tall poppy syndrome... let me explain.. one of the SA best college footy players, irrespective of wat school he attends, is being made out to be some hack talked up by his mates... remember, this player has been invited to draft camp, played sanfl reserves wen availiable, captained the best team in the state this year, played all year with a dodgy ankle and shoulder, won the b&f as a year 11 (only person since pavlich to do so). there is more that could be said... so before all u knockers click that "post reply" button to have a crack at him, think to urself "am i as good as him?". if ur answer is yes, then go for it and get stuck rite in. if its no, then ease off the pay outs, many unfounded, because it makes u look silly.. wen someone who quit football after school gets stuck into someone on his way to do great things in his career (whether for sanfl or afl, rookie or national draft) it gives the impression this person needs to bring down ppl better than him to make him feel adequete. sure, critisize within reason, but stupid rash comments are not needed on a discussion forum..
Sincerely,
Sir Bob Geldoff
