In the last week alone

- Appeared after Saturday night footy for his "scoop" report with a bowler hat on, LOLOMGWTFFRO
- Had the EXCLUSIVE on the huge news that James Hirds car got stolen
- Had the other huge EXCLUSIVE that a "high profile player on Saturday afternoon playing for a big Vic club went to a Vietnamese takeaway joint and got a schnitzel roll with the lot and a meat pie two hours before the game"

It seems to be quite hard to find any mention of McClure winning the award other than his own byline and wiki page.

Clearly didn't win it in 2015, Tom Dullard did.

The Wikipedia editor that added the reference to him winning it in 2015 has never made another contribution and has had their account removed. Not looking good, Scoop!

i had a look at that earlier. it doesnt mention the media awards. Normally the media organisation that they win it with trumpets the win.

Yes, he has that claim on the byline of every article he posts.

There doesn't appear to be any other record of it, though. And there are reports of someone winning that exact award in 2015 that isn't him.
