no, they don't support easter weekend. in fact the afl technically insult Christianity by allowing friday night football.

For like 100 years they wouldn't allow Friday football.

Do they play football during Ramadan? Yes
Do they play football on Sundays (A day of rest for a number of religions)? Yes

The AFL respects no religion when it comes to scheduling of its matches, and neither it should.

Dude a white Canadian woman wearing short shorts and no head scarf wandered through the main street completely unaffected.

Pretty sure its not 'under sharia law'

You don’t get it. It doesn’t have to be officially recognised to be in place. You seem to smart to be that nieve.

I never blamed anyone. Could be their own half the time, but you asked why they were coming here, mostly because their home are gone.
Most of Syria's refugees are in camps in neighbouring countries. The vast majority fleeing to other countries are not from Syria.

That's true, and you also can't deny our own responsibility in that. If we are gonna fight wars that have lasted near on 15 years in another country you might have to be prepared to deal with the refugees from said country.
In Syria?

OK so if it was in place why didn't some of these bearded men stone her to death?

After all according to you they don't care about the laws of Australia?

You're so paranoid. Show me on this doll where the muslim touched you.

Dodgy journalism. The University doesn't support the recognition of Sharia Law, just the study of it for knowledge and comparitive purposes. Clickbait.

Its what happens when you get people that cant read past the title of an article.

Its a course on Sharia law and how possible it is to integrate into Australian society.
Funnily enough very similar to a lot of what we're discussing here.

Thats it. BigFooty is under sharia law!

Because the cop was smart.

And if the cop wasnt there she would've been killed?
So all the white people that walk the streets of this suburb will be killed? After all they dont believe in the same god.

Funny I havent heard of any stoning or beheadings yet... surprising given how much they've 'taken hold'

Did you manage to read the article or just the title?

I read the article. What was your take on what was trying to be achieved?

My take is its an interesting topic of study.
What is Sharia law, how does it differ from ours and can they co-exist.

Seems pretty relevant to me.

You went a little early.

That’s right. It is very relevant.

You just keep doing my job for me.

a) the guy got jailed, so much for his 'sharia law protection'
b) its from 2013.

So a one off you reckon?

What?
There was no such increase. Violent crime went down substantially, as did homelessness, arrest rates, court rates, admissions to hospitals.
There were very few minor negative effects.
USAGE OF DRUGS DROPPED IN BOTH ADULTS AND YOUTHS!
Obviously 'years ago' is so long ago you've forgotten the results.

You know what most often causes drug related homicides? people not being able to afford it. You know why people cant afford it? Because its made by people in a basement and goes through 20 sets of hands (who all want a cut) before it gets to the user.
Regulate the drugs, and the process, and a lot of that concern is eliminated.

Let users use in a safe environment instead of sharing needles under a bridge.

The war on drugs never worked, in any country, ever.

The Phillippines are going around killing drug users and people still wont stop.

Taxing drugs means profit goes back to the community, not to some bikie scumbag with a Lamborghini.

Your ignorance is blinding.

Nah, it’s not that complex. Lock users up until they complete rehab. Death penalty reinstated for dealers.

Six month amnesty, starting tomorrow. Get clean!
