People have different bodies that react differently to chemicals. I'm sure there has been overdoeses and even fatalities in the past due to some weird reaction, but it would have to be a fairly rare occurance.

Your friend could have suffered the same thing from Alcohol, seeing something bad or even taking prescribed medicine. I'm guessing your friend triggered a form of mental illness that would be common in his family.
reality is, Weed is alot better and safer for you and others around you than Alcohol.
I know alot more people that have ****ed their lives on alcohol than weed. Am I going to be offended everytime I see a beer ad?
There has never been a reported case of an overdose on someone just taking marijuana.
