• Patrick Stephenson went out on a bender on the Saturday into Sunday morning and was last sighted around 3am Sunday morning outside a bar/club
• That he allegedly murdered Samantha Murphy, in a deliberate act (no accident) at approx. 8am, at Mt. Clear, an hour after SM set off for her run
• PS's vehicle has been seized by police.
• The police have enough evidence to have charged PS with murder

It's not the first case to have media attention. Courts & the juries all over the world have to deal with this all the time.

Of course. Jurors can't be expected to have not heard anything of a case. That's impossible.

They are asked specific questions as to whether they would be prejudiced, connected to, etc.

The police have been quite adamant that based on what they have on the alleged accused, that they're yet to disclose to the public, that it was premeditated and not a random, opportunistic murder.

Take anything with a grain of salt with what you read online, but there's several users on the threads saying Patrick Stephenson is quite an average human based on their encounters with him.

Obviously everyone has their own theories and opinions, but I personally believe the further this gets investigated, we're going to see a pattern of behavior from him that was ignored, or he got slapped on the wrist for that lead him to allegedly murdering Samantha Murphy.

The police have been quite clear that it wasn't a hit and run and he disposed of the body due to being drunk or on drugs at the time and hoped nobody would ever find out. I think he's done something quite heinous to her and doesn't want to reveal the location out of fear of that information getting out to the world and used as evidence in his trial.

Time will reveal all. Just hope the family get their closure.

I saw the social media of the derelicts who invaded the doctor’s home in SA and honestly they looked like a pretty normal loved up couple with no sign of the hideous dysfunction they were going through, and Greg Lynn’s was a pack of wholesome family camping trips.

Goes to show anyone can put their best foot forward online.

It’s pretty rare someone gets caught up in something like this without some other issues cropping up first.

I feel like this scenario has been ruled out by the cops, 'deliberate attack' sounds very different to something that started by accident. They only seized his car after or about the time of his arrest, they had been watching him for two weeks prior, if the car was involved in an accident it would have been pretty evident early on and they would have wanted to seize it to collect DNA. IMO something more sinister was at play here and the cops have the evidence to prove a murder charge.

Murder is a very high bar, anything involving an accident when driving would likely be a dangerous driving resultiing in dealth, or culpable driving etc. The fact it is a murder charge it was a very targeted pre-meditated attack IMO. Time will tell

We’re all speculating, but if it was an accident and he had been trying to cover his tracks he’d probably be better off cooperating.
