This front office doesn't seem to be shy in moving on from questionable decisions. Only time will tell.

Its a balancing point....for every wounded duck posted there will be a corresponding laser beam.

If the 49ers ever sort out their QB situation and have a top 10 QB this team might go places.

The cheap Darnold experiment will be interesting, low expectation interest.

But if he gets to start the season with Purdy and Lance still on the mend, with this situation and the talent to work with it wouldn't surprise me if he made it hard to make the swap back.

Darnald may well have picked the 49ers as an opportunity to be an on the job reclamation project. Similar to the number of under performing defensive linesmen who have signed short term contracts and then cashed in elsewhere recently.

I want to see more of Purdy to be convinced and more situations where he has to put the team on his shoulders to win specifically.

Lance is all raw materials, potential and unknowns. He has the character, aptitude and desire to be a top tier QB in the league but who knows if he is actually good enough.

Whether it be Purdy, Lance or Darnald, if all are fit and fighting, whoever wins the starting job will make the team better since Purdy set a reasonable benchmark last year.

I wish I could say that was true, but I hadnt noticed Trey's ducks in pregame warmups until Steve brought it up as I dont follow the Niners that closely, then I thought this might annoy Brasher so ill mention it on big footy
