We return for our last 9 games at 4-4. 2 horrendous blown games against NFC West foes, with an early kickoff at Tampa. A limited team that looked better than we did against the Chiefs.

Run home ain't easy,

@ Tampa
Seahawks
@ Green Bay
@ Buffalo
Bears
Rams
@ Dolphins
Lions
@ Cardinals

Tough games against teams with a strong winning record (GB, Lions, Bills), teams around .500 (TB Bears), a team that looks very much improved with their QB back (Dol) and the repeate games in the West gauntlet.

Based on the division we're going to need to be 11-6 or 10-7 (probably needing tie breakers), and unless there is a huge fall off from the front runners in the conference the wildcard spots might be beyond reach.

Our path to the playoffs include winning remaining division games (must to maintain tiebreakers) and as many NFC games as possible (improve NFC tiebreaker).

Critical we win the next 2 weeks to set up a tough stretch.

More good CMC progress turning in a limited practice today.

His return is huge. We need to manage the load and keep him healthy but his return adds a stack of improvement across-the-board to our offence.

My unofficial value for CMC is we're at least a 7 point better team (1 additional FG a game instead of a midfield stalled drive punt, and turning a deep redzone FG in to a TD).

Defence has to do so much more to account for him, meaning they can't just play high safeties and limit the big plays for our receivers. More attention and focus means more isolation for the receivers. Longer drives, more moving the chains, improved redzone, more clock control etc etc.

We just need to keep him.fit and make sure that his not impacted by the Achilles issues
