For all you supercoaches who stuck fat with the big fellow it looks as if our trust in the big man will not be rewarded.

Now i know i am going to trade him this week assuming he is out for any period of time but the question is do you do a straight swap for a goldstein, jamar etc or do you stick big Zac on the field and make the cash from Sandy ?

Love to know everyones thoughts ?

Thinking of using Smith as 2nd ruck and Petrie when needed as I have the Petrie/J.Tippet combo.

If I downgrade Sandilands to a $91,000 spud then I can make $400,000 and upgrade Toy to Fisher. :D:thumbsu:

And you would have 1 trade left for the last 10+ weeks after that?

Trade him out to a Goldstein or Jamar. Otherwise finish your team with a Sandi > Rookie trade like I did.

since rd 12

  • Sandi > Vardy / Harris > Priddis
  • Selwood > Ablett
  • Mundy > Pendles
  • Heppell > Suckling
Only need to upgrade Lower but he looks a solid d7 at the mo. Can live with Smith. Luxuary trades

On the Sunday Footy Show, Doc Larkins was saying he has damaged the same toe and will require surgery in Melbourne. Expect him to be out for a minimum of 4 to 10 weeks apparently.

Would be using Smith if I hadn't downgraded him for cash on Friday. Not sure what I'll do now, probably trade Sandi to a Jamar type. Wanted to offload Bolton next week but I suppose that'll have to wait (6 trades left).

I'll be looking at players who have had both their byes so that narrows it down to McEvoy, Jolly and maybe Smith. Leaning McEvoy at the moment, has been absolutely beastly since being dropped and relatively unique.

I'd definetely go McEvoy if Gardiner wasnt coming back in but Gardi's fit now so you'd think his scoring will go down. Next year will be a must though.

It's a compelling argument to just say "**** it, Smith is good enough."

Yeah if i still had Smith i'd have no problems with starting him and cashing Sandi in or even keeping him on the pine if it's 4 weeks.

Goldstein looks to be a good option, but McIntosh is set to return next week and could take potential points away.

Cox, Smith/Bailey could get me through the year if I downgraded Sandi to a cheapy. But depends how long he's going to be out for...again :(
