How about you rank the Port and Camry mids then.

Let's see where you think reality sits.

Chad Wingard is a much better footballer than Danger. Sure Danger can run fast, He's tough as nails and is a very good player but as far as the whole package is concerned Chad is superior.

Chad has it all he's courageous, He's quick across the ground, He's agile and most of all his skills are sublime. Not to mention he has a very cool head on his shoulders when it comes to pressure. He can kick for goal after the siren GF day to win the game and I'd know he's going to put it through... Patty however you could not say the same.

Truth hurts sometime. You and the rest of you crows flogs will learn to deal with it though.

Did Steve Summerton's truth hurt you when he exposed the lie that is One Club? Have you dealt with that? What about the fact that your club has had one reasonable year in the last 6, has that truth sunk in or do you just think that because you were OK last year that somehow magically every issue is fixed?

There's a lot of truth out there and it works both ways.

Lol at you still clinging on to that.

He's getting paid sweet fa to captain the club... If he still believed that garbage he would be gawwn.

So why is Dangerfield regarded more highly by his peers and just about every media commentator? They should just defer to Amstaff because he clearly knows more than anyone else and would never have bias.

Yes Wingard is something special, but you highly underestimate Dangerfield who is simply ridiculously amazing at times, but they'd both be in my best side.

He's more advanced in his career, That's why.

Which points that I made would you disagree with?

Absolutely I'd love Danger in my side, There's no doubt he is a star and can change a game on his own however I believe Chad is a better overall package.

In the last Showdown Wingard stepped up to the plate when it mattered like he did in many of our wins last year.

Well, you could be right, but at this stage Danger has more impact on a game. Wingard certainly has impact but understandably not of the same scale…yet.

….and thats the only real discussion you'll get out of me for the rest of this thread.:D

I think you under estimate just how effective Dangerfields whining, arm waving and pointing was.

It nearly got the crows over the line.

If danger can tidy up his disposal & play 4 quarter footy he might nab a brownlow, he would be a much better player with a pre-season under burgo but alas it's poolos

This is a good point. Perhaps we're being too harsh on the Crows mids. After all, they are significantly handicappped in comparison to their Port counterparts by playing under an arrogant delusional media-whore flog of a coach and the worst fitness guy in the business. Somebody with Dangerfield's athletic gifts and raw talent could be the best player in the competition under the tutelage of Hinkley, Walsh and Burgess, but unfortunately it's not to be.

For one you've stated that Chad would kick the winning goal in a GF after the siren. There is no evidence to back this up as he's never been in that position.
Dangerfield is a very very good set shot, his accuracy can be questioned on the run. I don't compare the two directly, they are very different beasts. I agree that Wingard could certainly be as good a player, possibly better, but I still think Dangerfield has another level yet.
