Purple Haze is a real blackbooker and is just about my bet of the day. (R4)

We Wonder has the form around Banana Man who it knocked off. (R1)

Same goes for Hurl who was competitive against multiple city winners Miss Gundowring and Sensational Toy recently. (R8)

I think the two Zabeels will go well, Ladies Dancing in particular, and Truesdale who hasnt shown his debut win form again yet. (R2 & R6)

Moylan was impressive winning a weakish maiden and might be a good place bet. (R3)

R5 and R7 has phased me

If Hurl doesn't win the last race than racing is a bunch of crap as far as i'm concerned, has split 2 decent recent duel winners in Miss Gundowring and Sensational Toy who at best would smash this lot. If it don't win than i will shoot the horse and Ollie as a jockey.

Only bet for tomorrow.

I like Evil Tricks in the last. Have also been following Not a Copy for a while.

Looks a very tough quaddie, my early thoughts- Any suggestions?

Race 5- Serval, Yappa, Jeuneyman
Race 6- Escape Artist, Truesdale
Race 7- Cognac Bay, Danzylum, Not a Copy, Breech
Race 8- Hurl, Evil Tricks, Dandy Warhols

All up-
R1 Adams Peak- E/W
R3 Ladies Dancing- P
R5 Serval- P
R6 Truesdale- P
R7 Not a Copy- P
R8 Evil Tricks- P

Good luck all :thumbsu:

Weird meeting, typical summer I guess...loads of horses with country form and some of it reasonably good. Mind find one or two good ones come out of tomorrows meeting. For punters, its tough to weigh up Sandown midweek placings, Moonee Valley form off the heavy track on 21/12 and Tuesday wins at Kyneton/Kilmore though. Little known trainer Ryan Hooper from Tatura could land a double with promising Jeuneman and Masked Avenger.

For me:

Race 1 - Adams Peek and We Wonder clearly ahead of the rest.
Race 2 - Ladies Dancing, liked how strong it was at the end of the race at Ballarat L/S. Hopefully settles in first two, not much speed in race and gets soft run.
Race 3 - Shimasani
Race 4 - General Relativity was outstanding last time when backed for a stack at Ballarat. Purple Haze looks promising though. Keen on the quinella.
Race 5 - Jeuneman. Loved the way it won three runs ago at Tatura. On the up.
Race 6 - Key Result. Don't really like Yarra Valley form but fighting win there two runs ago in weaker class, but gets good weight relief here. Each way.
Race 7 - Breech. Terrific let down last start over the last 200m.
Race 8 - Oh Eight Hundred. Not sure it enjoys the 1400m, but will throw in Hurl and Paralegal as chances.

In the first I am going E/W on Samburu Warrior. I marked it down last year after one of its runs and it's name is in front of me on a white board still there from last year. Maybe it's a sign.. The horse next to it is Guild and Miss Eileen, all marked down from last year.

weird meeting because all the races are nmw!! i think its a great idea as it gives smaller trainers the chance to win in town on a saturday, and for the same prizemoney..

I like the idea, although the funny thing is that most favs are from big stables.
Will interesting to see who bobs up as winning trainers throughout the day.

Tough day, with form coming from everywhere.
I'm going early then late:
Race 1 No 4 We Wonder - worked hard early to lead last start & battled it out well.
Race 8 No 10 Dandy Warhols - jumped well last start & took a handy position. Was untouched to win & will get a gun run again today. Never out of a place unless on the heavy.

Out of the quaddie first leg.
I'm coming home with Truesdale in the next, Rock Vegas at massive odds in the 7th, and giving Hurl a miss in the last and went for Yoobabe (watch this bite me on the bum)
Also on Beauty Watch to knock off the Target!

I'm glad Cognac Bay drifted out a bit, anyone who watched it's last run would have been on it today.

Only two winners today, the last two races, so broke even which is ok.

we got unders on cognac bay comparing to other totes...as seth says, i should have an online account!!

your right, he ran well last start, but i was more taken by matt uptons comments at caulfield last start pre-race, on how he had excuses and wasnt able to get him fit enough for each of those runs.

i knew today the horse would be tickle pink!! so thats why i was never concerned by the wide gate and the 58kg....as jamie mott said "i was on the class horse, and thought he would still be good enough to sit 3 deep and be able to win ( under-rated jockey)
