You are an absolute ******* disgrace.

pfft.

Didn't see Johnson or his teammates extending sympathies to Jonathon Trott when he had to leave the English touring party with mental health issues.

Also, you can be battling mental health issues and not crumble like a complete bitch, it is possible. He put himself in the position and failed to meet the standards he set himself. You could tell his woman was disappointed in him during the phone call; harden up Mitch.

After watching the 4th ep again, is it just me or does Johnson's Mrs sound really flat and disappointed? Could have been edited I guess.
He's pulled the plug 1 week into a 6 week course. She's trying to sound supportive, knowing how devastated her husband must be feeling.

It was telling when he mentioned at his interview that he let the Barmy Army's songs about him get into his head and affect his bowling performances.

If you can't handle some light hearted songs from a bunch of drunken Poms it doesn't say much about your mental strength,
He required the most work off field of any of the players during his career as far as confidence and being at a level mindset , I wasn't suprised he pulled the pin early tbh.

Yeah, from the comforts of my couch, it did seem like Johnson folded pretty quickly. But he's been very open about his struggles, even before the show. Doesn't put up a front. Doesn't try and compensate or hide from it. I think it took a lot of courage to show how vulnerable he is on national television like that. Respek.

Candace Warner is as tough as an old boot. Comes across as a good person. Couldn't give a sh*t about her supposed sordid past. So what if she likes a bit of ****. Good on her.
No suprise she is doing well so far in this , clearly a very strong physically and mentally.
Isnt afraid to give Davey boy a decent clip when required apparently.

As for the other stuff , well it was ages ago .

I thought they gave Firass a very fair edit in last night's episode.

He was rightly praised for being the first to the ERV, and guiding the other candidates in... then he went and ruined all his good work, by p!ssing off back to base on a suicidal rescue mission, without telling anyone what he was doing.

Then he rocks up to the pack march with an underweight pack, and is rightly bollocked out for trying to cheat, and is given a 7kg rock to carry as a result. However, he makes it through to the finish line with a pack that's 25% heavier than anyone else's, and is rightly given kudos for this achievement.

The real star of last night's episode though, was Merrick. For a 46yo non-athlete to complete that pack march, only minutes behind 3x current professional athletes, was an outstanding effort. Combine that with his decision making in the hostage simulation, and he's right at the very top of the class.

It was a good effort by Merrick but geez he is very highly strung, I reckon he could snap any minute. Let's hope they never have any live rounds in those guns.

It was funny at his interrogation when the instructors were shocked that he was a comedian because he was one of the most serious guys they had ever met.

He's been one of the most impressive contestants so far and is giving everything a red hot crack so I wouldn't be surprised if he makes it through to the end.

Merrick, Badger, and Sabrina are the favourites to make it through to the end.

James Magnussen would/should probably be with them, but his edit has been completely anonymous. I guess he's just not the kind of character who gives them all the useless quotes, with which they love to pollute the show.

Firass is coping OK physically, and he'd probably be one of the lead group if he could manage to shut the **** up and work as part of the team (which is one of the key requirements for being in the SAS).

Shannan, Candice, Molly, Erin are at the back of the pack now. They're struggling with the physical demands of the show - as you'd expect from middle-age females, doing tasks designed to test ultra-fit SAS candidates.

As for Eden... Eden who? I actually have no idea who he is, or how he is performing. I can't even remember his face or name being mentioned in any of the episodes. At least Magnussen is prominent in the physical challenges. Eden is a complete nobody, and to all intents and purposes is completely MIA.

Yeah some of the contestants are getting a lot more airtime than others which usually suggests they will last longer or maybe they are just more interesting.

I'm surprised Firass has lasted this long, with all his f*** ups early on and lack of discipline I thought he would be gone by now but he must have shown the instructors something that is worth them keeping him there, he's copped more punishment and abuse than the others but he just keeps on fighting on regardless.

It's ridiculous how much time Candice was given last night, with the brain dead monologues (AKA dead air time), given that she did SFA throughout the actual expisode.

The last few episodes have only been her & Jackson doing all of the talking head rubbish... and now Jackson is gone. I'm hoping & praying that Candice goes next week, so we don't have her filling that dead air time over & over & over again for the last few episodes.

Yeah Candice has had more than her fair share of airtime, she's not particularly interesting or even one of the best contestants, maybe the fact she is married to David Warner and Ch7 have the rights to the cricket has seen her get more airtime than she deserves.

I think she's just more outgoing, and willing to express the vapid thoughts running through her head, than the other contestants.

Then again, I could be completely wrong. I have no idea why the producers have picked her as their favourite, she's certainly no front runner or fan favourite.

You have to give him credit for hanging in there despite the instructors and the rest of the contestants all hating him.
Yep. He’s impulsive, but not deliberately going out of his way to **** things up. But to have them all gang up on him, apart from Warner’s missus, pissed me off. Hope he wins it.
