thought i'd combine the thread instead of 2 seperate ones,

as usual post your bets, mine:

SR 4: Tipungwuti (gotta stick with it :thumbsu:)

SR 6: Desert War

SR 7: Gallic

SR 8: Takeover Target (should stamp his class on this one)

race 2 - Rose Of Sharon. (bring back Kiloton i say)
race 3 - Hot Danish. Very promising this filly. I'm only seeing $2.80 though
race 5 - Acey Ducey. 1600 is good and $26 wasn't expecting that big odds.
race 7 - County Tyrone
race 8 - Black Ink, good value, doubts over some of the others.

Race 1 - Bobadah; cant be faulted and better value than you'll get for Strong Choice who is still relitely unknown. Sunset Run perhaps value for place.

Race 2 - Hot 'n' Ready with Williams aboard. Rose of Sharon is a few lengths behind but may have good value for place.

Race 3 - Hot Danish and Cheeky Choice are favoured and a class above. Hot Danish has more impressive barrier trials. Grey Stream and Shirl Pegasus will run for places.

Race 4 - Tipungwuti is obviously one to beat, not sure what you will get for it. Next best Upper Echelon.

Race 6 - Very open race. Desert War, HNPE, and Spirit of Tara the best.

Race 7 - Open again. Prince Arthur, Bluetigeroo, Magic Instinct, and No Wine No Song the only ones to factor.

Race 8 - Nothing to offer. Obvious choices

Race 9 - New Edge, Mi Casa, Abu Simbel, Zavite...?

A lot of choices in quaddie leg races, however if I havent mentioned them (other than race 6) I find it hard to see them winning.

Cant believe I'd ever be tipping Meurice over 1600 but his last couple have been luckless & the barrier means he has to go forward.
Assuming the track plays fair, this race is usually won by a frontmarker.($6.6 Betfair)

Race 3 - Number 4 - KOSI BAY, E/W bet
Race 4 - Number 2 - TIPUNGWUTI, not worth betting on at those odds though.
Race 5 - Number 9 - CAMARILLA
Race 6 - Number 1 - DESERT WAR
Race 7 - Number 11 - NO WINE NO SONG, E/W bet
Race 8 - Number 8 - BLACK INK

Race 1- Fox Lake
Race 2- Absolutelyfabulous
Race 3- Cheeky Choice
Race 4- Tipungwuti
Race 5- Camarilla
Race 6- Desert War
Race 7- Prince Arthur
Race 8- Bentley Biscuit
Race 9- Accumulate

R1 H 11 Strong Choice was scratched from the Gp race Wed after TT didnt accept & the weights were thrown into chaos.
Much better suited here in a welter with 54 & has trialled brilliantly.($3.55 betfair)

I still want an ID check on Meurice...how that horse can run 1600m after his Melbourne campaign has me buggered

Im not one of Gai's fans but I gotta admit she's done a job with this horse.
That race has been a leaders benefit over the last few years so the barrier turned out to be an advantage.Gee that filly was short enough.

desert war!! :thumbsu:

what a champion, showed haradasun what champions are made of, and hopefully they get the old boy set for the spring and give the cox plate a crack.

4 Group 1's tomorrow
[B]Race 5 - Meurice E/W @ $5.50.
Race 6 - Railings has found his mojo again and @ $13 is value (+ BQ 1-2-10).
Race 7 - Gallic E/W @ $11 (+ BQ 1-2-6).

Race 8 - Double Dare E/W @ $26 is the value runner for me. Small bet though.

Some nice tipping going on here so far

What more could he do?

The leaders got away from him... He was leading the second pack and had to do all the work... Be fair mate..

Yeah fair enough, not really on today's ride. It came to my mind that Nash's last 3 rides on Harada have been losses, but G.Boss's 2 rides have been group 1 victories.

Nash has had other bad rides too this year.
