MGS were absolutely destroyed.
Smith is all class and set up the performance with a 10posession 1st quarter.
Scheetz is a mean machine who nullified Hawkins to an extent.
Nathan Djerrkura and Junior Rioli are stars of the future and it's a fu<king pleasure to watch them strut their stuff.
I expected more from Ellis but when he fills out he will be a better player. Kicked 3 in the 3rd quarter to show give MGS some hope but was only moved to full-forward because he had no impact anywhere else. I will be VERY suprised if he nominates for the draft this year.

If someone can clarify, If Haileybury win against Brigthon do they win overall or share with Scotch?

Scotch definitely put together their best football of the year today, i can't think of anyone who didn't have an impact on the game. Grammar would be feeling it after blowing their chance of the premiership after their win last week.
For mine,
5. Nath Djerrkurra - dominated all day, strong overhead, brilliant goal, hard tackling.
4. Barlow - started nervously, but this kid was everywhere, brilliant motor and impossible to match up on.
3. Scheetz - tough as nails, smashed a number of packs, most notably putting Bryan onto the turf in what was a fearful attack at the footy.
2. Njoku - this kid should be in the APS side, most improved player, jumps bloody well and easily had the best of Hawkins when he was in the ruck.
1. Davis - Started well, set the intensity of the game from the beginning, maybe not as strong in the 2nd half. But when the game was in the balance he was influential. Kicked a massive goal.
Morrison was good but lost it a little when he got sent off, Ellis proved that he is a star with his move forward taking some great grabs and kicking a great part of their score.
Worst on Ground
4. Nick Batten - this kid should climb back into the hole from where he came. He's lucky that the barriers were there, otherwise he would have had 500 Scotch guys ready to smash him.
3. Mckie - If this guy had have been playing for dreamteam he would have been on about -25, the amount of useless free kicks against and fifty metre penalties was a disgrace. Nice headband you weirdo.
2. McLoughlan - Should have quit footy in year 6 during the pinnacle of his footballing career.
1. Satori - This guy was supposed to be one of their best, but proved nothing short of disappointing.

Haileburey win overall if they win tomorrow

Is Djerrkura in year 10? Brilliant first half, definite AFL prospect.

The person who said Ellis shouldn't nominate for this year's draft should
offer him that advice. Not ready to play with men but should play TAC next year and not trot around in park standard school football - he won't make any progress doing that.

Rioli is a Rioli, could play AFL if he applies himself.

How old and in what year is Scotch 45 Nick Smith? He's the only other player I saw from today's game who has a remote chance to make AFL.

Should be great to see if Brighton can challenge the chequebooks of Hailibury tomorrow, never thought id be happy saying that id love scoth to win the premiership, CARN THE TONNERS!

number 45, nick smith, is in Yr 11 and an absolute superstar... definate AFL potential. his use of the ball is second to none. big 10 possesion first quarter really inspired the team. another yr of tac and aps then watch out!

atm already playing for oakleigh 24 possies last game (playing only 3 quarters) and 26 possies the game before. plus slotting a goal in both of those games.

what a player.. keep your eyes on him.

Thanks Tigers4life. Smith reminded me of Dean Laidley, real aggressive attitude, good all round skills and loved to run with the ball. He plays the game like it should be played.

.

Look to me that he was injured and incapable at playing at his normal standard. But if its your opinion that he shouldn't nominate then so be it. But i just think AFL recruiting managers might know a bit more about AFL development than you do. See where he goes in this years draft

If Murphy doesn't go father son, Ellis will go at 2 and if Murphy goes to Brisbane Ellis would go at 1 in the 2005 draft. I'm sure Carlton and Hawthorn recruiting managers would encourage Ellis to enter in this year's draft, but why would other clubs recruiting managers encourage him to, when they won't pick him up? They'd tell him to go in next years draft where he would most likely go late in the top ten. He did look injured yesterday, but my point is he is at least three years away from being able to perform well against men. Ask someone who knows, that will give you a straight answer if they disagree with that?

who was 7 for MGS, very quick however got sent off. An amaising game of school football, the crowd was enormous and the atmosphere fantastic, if only it was a close game. Seeing the scotchies fall over the barrier was hilarious, and rioli and smith looked very impressive, while, ellis was skillfull up forward, however i would suspect he was injured.

you fellas seem to talk alot with out much back up he had a corky and couldn't run after the first quarter went to full forward barely got any service kicked 3 and set up 2 so before you start running your mouths think a bit. grammar didn't play anywhere near what they need to but well done to morrison who didn't give up the whole game and oshaughnessy who didn't stop running either

Does Daniel Satori play at MGS and what are Junior Rioli and Nathan Djekurra like at scotch will they get drafted?
