i would have joel ohalloran from subiaco would have been on your list lingsface. state schoolboys , picked in 18s squad until injury i think second on the wafl goal kicking list until injured, constanstly in the best for suby colts in his first season as an 16yr old and in the best just about every week up until injury seems to me as an outsider that hes been forgoten about can play back & forward and hits the contest pretty hard and wonderful goal kicker ?

if you a talking about ohalloran no probaly to small for kpp but has great skills both side of his body

Dont know about Yakuza but I'd delete Wheeler, Batt, Adamson-Holmes, Gribble, Cooper, Crosby, Hill, Ballantyne etc., etc.,

The Thompson you speak of is actually James Thomson and he would be a definite chance to attend the Screening and could be an outside chance for the Draft Camp. Bet that surprises you eh?

If that is who I think it is then James is the son of Channel 9's Mark Thompson. Very similar build to Eric MacKenzie, both very athletic and tall. I havent seen them play but Eric goes to my old school (ccgs) and James (ccgs arch rival - scotch). Both in my brothers year at school. By all reports James is an arrogant so and so, I think their could be query on his attitude. Continually in the middle of fights and has quite a reputation from what I have gathered.

I know James Thompson from perth could be a possibility to be drafted played state 16s and 15s very unlucky to miss out on the 18s but James Thompson from Scotch is who orange apple is talking about heaps of potential can run better than any big guy around and has been playing very well for scotch and the games hes played for claremont has featured in the best could be a hidden talent but not likely.

And Mick Ryan who would be your list, Gribble Balantyne Cooper are all big chances and worthy of a state screening acceptance the others are just possibilities........Mick Ryan bags everyone but gives very little.

You have your opinion I have mine, the difference is that I know what I'm talking about. I guess we'll just have to see what happens on the day but I am prepared to state that Thompson from Perth has no chance, neither does Gribble (one of several wrong selections for the 18's) if Cooper was any chance it would've been last year,Conway about as much chance as you,Adamson-Holmes less and I could go on.
That should be enough for you to chew on.

If he was 30% as good as MacKenzie he might be a chance I am still waiting to see him win a hard ball and take a contested mark. Looks like Tarzan plays like Jane.

I would probably add a few more Mick and I reckon that I would have a better chance of being invited to the draft camp than Tarzan Thomson or should I say Jane Thomson!

I cant speak highly enough of Eric. He played 1st's with me when he was in yr10. Not only is a talented footballer but he also has the personality to make it in the big time. He is very intelligent and one of the leaders in his year (school prefect etc). He is very down to earth, quiet but very hard working. Almost complete opposite to James Thompson from what I have heard.

mAcKenzie, thompson (scotch), bailey, LUKE crosby and ballantyne should all get a crack at the WAIS screening if not then macca and bailey will go to the AIS one

thompson is ok and being looked at but the best player at scotch is pike, he actually wins a contest
