Why do ch7 dump Scrubs in the 11pm timeslot yet show unfunny shows like Hope & Faith and According To Jim at early times ?

Scrubs is one of the funniest shows on TV.
Last nights episode was very funny.The scene with Marsha Brady was hilarious.

I liked Todd's line - "Hey,do you think g.ay dudes get turned on by their own weiners ?"

I couldnt agree more with the timeslot choice. According to jim is soooo bad its not funny, Hope & Faith is possibly worse. Forgot to tape it last night but i will definatly try and tape it more often.

Channel 7 have no idea when it comes to comedies.

Scrubs is one of the last genuinely well written sitcoms in existence- everyone I know stayed up for it last night.

"So dude, how are you getting on with Tracey?"

But Scrubs is a good show. As evidenced by not being played during ratings.

Totally agree. I also thought the show that was on before Scrubs wasn't too bad either. But I have a theory about these sitcoms...

Sitcoms not recorded in front of a studio audience (or without a laugh track) get a much harder time from the networks. Because people are not being 'prompted' when to laugh (ie - laugh whenever the audience laughs), they think they are not necessarily as funny, or that people wont find them as funny.

Well, it's the only thing I can think of...

Love it. ********ed off though the Seven/Prime put it so late when it they screen it though. Don't even watch anything else on that channel besides Scrubs.

Totally agree. I also thought the show that was on before Scrubs wasn't too bad either.

That won a few Emmys but for some reason was a ratings flop in the US. That's why it has a late timeslot. Scrubs is hard to explain, just another victim of the rated-well-over-Summer so-we-put-it-on-during-ratings-then-it-didn't-rate-so-we-put-it-at-the-bottom-of-the-pile syndrome

This is the earliest bump of a thread on Scrubs but I just wanted to say that “Jordan” has reappeared in Shrinking

Why is this worthy of a bump?

1. I literally didn’t recognise her; her plastic surgery is woah

2. It led me to YouTube to find Scrubs scenes of her

3. Spent ages there at YouTube and gee that was the best show
