A pretty tough first three days for us. sausageroll got going with the bat in the first innings on day one with a nice half century but that was about it apart from the tail wagging a bit, including cooney's knock. For them to be 1/110 at stumps summed up how tough a day it was for us.

Day two wasn't too much better, our bowlers toiled hard but they still got past a total of 400 and a lead of just over 200 which isn't ideal on a bowling track.

Day three had some brighter patches with sausageroll scoring another half century to continue his good form with most of our top and middle order getting starts. Unfortunately we were too far behind in the game which hasn't left us much to defend.

Hopefully we can take a few wickets tomorrow and make things tough for the opposition. :thumbsu:

Honestly though, do you reckon you would've changed who was playing based on the team I named? West Gate, despite what the scoreboard says, I thought some of those playing for the Trolls this week did quite well. sausageroll was West Gate’s best with the bat with Proper Gander also being a great support act at the other end of the pitch. At least this wasn’t the worst loss a team had this week.
