The Western Stars have refused to take the field on the fourth morning in protest at not being allowed the extra half hour to claim Keptin Mafia’s last wicket. As a result, the qumpires in consultation with both qaptains and the match qeferee have decided to award the match to the Mafia, an award which leaves Chipmunk ‘s team unbeaten going into the third round of fixtures. The inaugural Sweet CA Championship is on course to make its home at CHPBT Stadium (formerly known as Keptinia Park).
In other news, several of the Mafia players have signed endorsement deals with our affiliated construction firm, Concrete On. Leading batsman MP_ has signed another deal with KFC, and our coach has also recently been announced as Head of Leadership And Performance at Keptin Laundered Capital Inc. The Sweet CA made initial inquiries as to whether these private financial matters had an impact on the soft qap; however it was decided it would not be in the league’s best interests to investigate further.
