I've gone on about it for many many many seasons. Problem is that I sold it poorly to begin with, made it sound to complex. It needs to be basic. Once off submission so not much work. Not restrictive to player movement isn't impacted.

But a banter point. Everyone assigned a salary. I mean, we are a fantasy footy league. We talk about how well our username played in a game and it'd be nice to talk about how much or little you're making for it.

The last time I went on about it gave a model + examples from each club:

From memory, the counter-argument to that was that nobody would ever actually use that as a banter point because it's stupid. "Oh, you make $700,000 per year? I make $1,100,000 - you ****ing suck." It is the same the thing with stats, nobody ever says, "I averaged 2.1 disposals more than you, therefore I am the superior plater." Maybe they do, maybe it just falls on deaf ears. Like with stats though, one major drawback would be humility. You can't guarantee the best posters will be paid the most money much like you can't guarantee the best posters will be played in the best positions, and even if it's linked to your stats, like an Exie price thing, well, then it's just like the Exie price thing akkaps did that nobody really ever used as a banter point.

The whole concept is redundant, however, it might work as a once per season media thread.

To be fair it was 50% me as well, so you can like/hate/like it.

- Off Season is too long. 4 weeks - 6 tops between Grand Final and Round 1.
- Season length doesn't bother me - still think we should aim to have 2 per calendar year.
- Trade Period works OK.
- Salary Cap, unless it was enforced, is irrelevent and silly.
- The League doesn't need expansion now or in the next 6-12 months.
- No one sims their own team in finals.
- Admin has final call on all decisions regarding resims, name changes etc.
