Only players yet to resign at werribee centrals Are devon ellis who is heading to whyndamvale, and brayden smith. I have heard he has signed with mulwala football club but i am yet to confirm. All centrals recruits will stand up well in the gdfl. Mix of old and young which is always the mixture for success.

Don't know much about them Just have a few mates that play down there. Dont know the names of the hoppers blokes coming across just heard that the majority of them won't play seniors. ANd they all think they will be walk up starts because they are from hoppers. MAybe you can help me out with names?

Thats all i am aware of... All are more then handy players

i cant see any one of those not getting a senior game.
Jones would be the pick of the lot, was at Werribee VFL 3 years ago. from what i'm led to believe won the WRFL coaches MVP this year. Hoppers, Spotswood and Albion all threw big coin at him though apparently has good mates at Centrals and thought would be best option.
In that list their bizza, I don't see any reserve players.
When I was talking about reserve players coming across, we were talking about the players coming across from hoppers who are under 25. How many of those names mentioned are 25 or under? 1? I'm talking about the 5 or 6 other players from hoppers who are under 25 who are supposedly going to werribee. Does anyone know there names?
How old are these players? Any of them under 25? Can anyone closer to werribee confirm if these are the type of players you need down there?

Exactly what centrals need!! Harden bodies,quick, good skills, keeping all but 1 of there young crew.
to get an idea on what these guys are like, i will compare them to some of our guys (BPH)
Chris Koutzamanis = Holzfiend - less skilled, but maybe a touch quicker.
Chris Briety = Macnamara - quiet achiever down back, rarely beaten
David Clonan = Martin - solid strong CHB
Bomber = popovski - not as strong as disco, but can play forward.
Brayden Montebruno = Pisano - one of the hardest blokes i know. will lay top 4 out of 5 tackles for next year.
Tyren Montebruno= bit like Matthew lloyd, doesnt look like much until you see he has kicked 5 on you.
never seen the jones' play.
you are correct in saying that some from hoppers are twos players, but a couple will be pushing for 1's selection - Mcintosh and Domerecki
macintosh is tough and a good ball user, but probably not fit enough
domerecki wont get a game while boofa and nathan lovell are in the side, a touch too slow.
speculation on whether these guys will be good for centrals is just that. until we are halfway through the year we wont know, but as the old saying goes, populate or perish. clubs that dont recruit from outside the league have no chance, unless you won it last year
the gap between east and BPH is too great, inver the only slight exception.

bizza, if you are from BPH how do you know so much about these Hoppers guys?
I know a One of guys going to Werribee and he said Mcintosh is playing in the country next year not Centrals. Regarding the age of these blokes this is what he told me, Koutzamanis 25, Jones 25, Montabruno's 24,26, Morgan 26, Clonan 30, Phipps 31, Alby(dont know his real name)22 and there is 1 more guy they call Macca from Hoppers he's mates with Alby he's 22 apparently kicked 50 goals in the 1's a year ago.

Macca would be brad mcnicol - silky skills but not very hard. Doubtful he kicked 50 in the ones, but he did pop up with a few 3-4 goal hauls here an there.
I only started playing footy in 09' after doing a few preseasons at hoppers for fitness with a few mates..... Was too old to get picked before the young blokes down there and Cavka Farrar and Bott got me down to BPH to make up numbers in the 2's.
Hoppers are a proud club with a lot of history, which i why I don't agree with the comment that the hoppers boys are chasing cash. I know hoppers training loads compared to centrals are demanding - not dissimilar to Gfl v gdfl, and would suggest the boys have work commitments which woul hamper there efforts to give 100% at hoppers.
Centrals will give it a fair crack this year mark my words. It will be a waste though cos the panthers are still hungry..

He definitely applied for their coaching job and didn't get it!! Either Inverleigh committee are ******ed or he was just asking for way too much $$.
Also, Forbes from St Joeys signed at Thomson.. That's a massive get for them.

isnt he a part time coach at the roos? if so couldnt imagine he could commit to coaching if he is still at the roos or maybe he isnt coaching material, just because he played AFL doesnt mean he can coach
Was a part time coach at werribee vfl, now with scotty west at the helm may have been given the ass.. Would be a massive get if inverleigh had of got him
I hear that stone will be the midfield coach at Lara next year.
