So if any players who maybe work towards Melbourne, who
Struggle to get to training in Gtown, or just want a change,

love your enthusiasm, but you forgot to mention you will be WRFL Div 2. can you quote some names of people involved - coaches etc?

That's correct Bizza, Division 2 of the WRFl.
Fixture was released last night , 12 teams competing in
Divvy 2, as we are one of two new teams entering the comp.
All contacts can be found on the web page , or
Our face book page ( nearly 800 likes ).
You will also see our logo & playing guernsey.

Butch Shaw very close to having a season at Belmont Lions pending work committments, he would be a great for the younger players. Lives 5 minutes away in Highton.......

I believe Bannockburn has signed a guy by the name Craig McGough ?? As coach for season 2013. he seem to have his work cut out for him as Tyquin and Braumen meeting with Newtown and a couple of other GFL clubs plus Ross Dillion back to Bell Park and a couple of others returning to drysdale and if Butch Shaw goes to belmont.... That is a lot of class players to loose.. North Geelong has lost Johnathon Romondo to South Barwon and Jordie Heis I hear is playing in Melb or Returning to Ocean Grove and a 3 Reserve guys heading to Forrest. Anakie has recruited a few res players from Lara but not sure if they have covered there losses... Thompson picked up 4-5 res players from Newtown that kicked 140 goals between them so they are looking like the improves so far.. Any news on weather Tom Mullane-Grant has signed at East, Thomp,Anakie,North or returned back to Banno...Good to hear BPH have signed jovanovic once again look like the team to bet....

Justwatchin got his man. Robertson to return to Kerang according to Central Murray Forum. Murphy, Coy, Robertson, Power, Ververs, Nolan. Some spots up for grabs at East.
 
Sebastopol Football Netball Club (BFL) are looking for an opponent for practice matches on the weekends of March 16 or 17th, march 23rd or 24th and April 6 or 7th next year.

Our home ground a football only oval and is available for all dates, and we would like matches for all 3 teams as well as Netball games for the girls.

Chaplin-Burch a massive in for east, how are other clubs looking? Werribee & Winch??

Corio contenders next year? Banno & Anakie have gone backwards, Bell Post Hill to be favourites again along with Thompson & will North Geelong be up there with all the players they have brought
 
That is a great pick up for East and the GDFL to have a guy that has kicked 105 goals in the BFL in 2011....Agree with BPH to be favourites along with Thompson and you would think East will be up there again now with Chaplin- Burch signing on must of cost a lot of $$$$$$$.. North Geelong recuites I thought were from there juniors that had left for GFL or returning from O/S trip Bryant, Van Crekin, Fletcher, Schwennesen and I think Hardimen are all juniors... Have not heard of anyone else that they have signed but should improve and possible play finals??? And Will depend on who they have lost... Any news on Tom Mullan Grant ????( Banno or Queenscliff) looks like the same 3 sides Banno,Werr and North will be playing of for the final 2 spots in the top 5....?????
 
Bryant, fletcher, hardmen, kee return to the club from GFL. Swenneson and vam crekin return from overseas.. All arejuniors from the club and all played senior footy at the club. Sam clark is the only new face they hav recruited

Some good pick ups for winch from today's addy. If knuckey can play they could be a chance to push for 5th spot. it would be a massive turn around. It will be good to see corio winch improve.

Chaplin-Burch is likely to play for east due to a number of mates going there from various clubs. Money won't get him over the line if they were to pull out.

Great to see Winch pick up some players and I'm sure with Mench they will improve there game plan and fitness of the team.With the inclusion of Knuckey I still doubt they will make the 5 but there will no surprise that they make finals in the 2nd year under Mench.????? Corio talking too a few of Lara res/snr players and getting close to signing them looking more like positive year for the devils... Anakie looks like losing Pitman to GFL club G-West...???

I agree winch will be better and would look to make the finals in 2 years time i would think they would finish between 6th and 8th on the ladder. Corio will be the other big improver. I would think Banno will fall out of the five and nth geelong will take there place.
Its very early but my ladder would look like this
BPH (lost moreland but gain jovan the team to beat again)
Thomson ( same team macleod a big lose)
East ( have lost some good players but sounds like they will replace most of them)
North ( have added more then they have lost)
Werribee (havent heard much. need to add some young leg speed to the team)
Corio (will be a big improver)
Banno (have lost some good players in dillion, aaron eddy and kane taylor to name a few but have good depth)
Winch ( will be alot better but are coming from along way behind the rest of the comp)
Inver (have 15 players coming up from the under 18's putting all there faith in the kids)
Anakie (have lost some good players dont no if they have replaced them)
Geelong west (have picked up a few and no big loses will keep improving)
Belmont (Havent recruited any new players looking for the kids for improvement)

Don't doubt the league b&f for a second. Was only a little murmur I heard and when I read about the Lara sen/res in talks with Corio I wondered if it had any credibility to it. Could be way off though

I heard 1 of the guys is a guy by the name of Lowey Hunter that kicked 6 goals in 1 game for the res...?????not sure what type of player he is....??? But I'm sure he will be handy for corio if they get him...
 
TAC?? Thanks for that. One bloke who could teach a skill to a mug and then sit back and watch that mug improve and do what he was taught - pretty rare in any sport - what role at Falcons
 
3 players from the GDFL have joined Tuggeranong hawks up canberra way in Brent Macleod (assistant coach) Anakie ruckman Luke Wilson and corio midfielder Brad Hurn
