Obvious Candidates

Brisbane. Sould be merged with GC or renamed Fitzroy & demoted to the VFA.
Bulldogs. Tough to build a balanced list with Boyd squeezing their salary cap.
Essendon*. All that TB4 & AOD has drained out of their systems by now.
Fremantle. Ross is signed till 2020 & has already displayed an appetite for tanking.
Gold Coast. Bound to get their shit together but not while Rocket's in charge.
Melbourne. History says its unwise not to include them on this list.
Norf. Playing list resembles an RSL club & they're about as well-resourced.
Richmond. Its Richmond... no more needs to be said.
St.Kilda. The league doesn't award 4 points for moral victories.

On ladder position Brisbane looks like they're in trouble - but they have a good group of young talls and if the AFL come to the party and help them find some facilities that are better than the Drouin Football/Netball club, they'll look ok.

I'll say North - Richmond are 33 years into a 40 year rebuild but at least they started before North did - North are speaking to Travis Cloke and Chris Mayne (seriously).

*Travis Close
He would be the dogs best forward. :$

He'd be almost our only forward - Tom Boyd has been our best ruck for the past 5 weeks and he's needed in the middle :$

I believe the Chris Mayne deal to North Melbourne is done and dusted.
