Congratulations to both teams on making it to the pointy end, and especially to The Furies for setting up the semi final clash between the Rats and the Bombers which was a rousing success.
This is sure to be a colossal bout between with one team looking for back to back premierships and another looking for a record sixth flag.
The Furies - Season 23
The Furies' regular season 12 wins were good enough for the minor premiership, two games and percentage clear on top. It was an outstanding season on the field and the Furies backed it up prolifically off the field too with another strong set of posting numbers - including Grockadoc racking up 1000 posts in Round 1, and NaturalDisaster averaging 95 posts a game.
The Furies also welcomed back Mobbs Medalist and resident Sim dick kissee Wacky Tiger who has unsurprisingly again had a dominant season finishing 3rd in tackles and averaging 18 touches a game.
Captain and perennial Qooty numpty _Cayz_ defied all odds to turn out an outstanding season in the ruck, finishing 1st in kicks, 5th in hitouts and 7th in disposals.
Rookie HumanMeatball had a decent rookie season and we look forward to more ShitTruck of the Week™ in season 24 and beyond.
The Bears - Season 24
There was no premiership hangover for the reigning champs. The loss of stalwart and spiritual leader brahj was offset by the loss of DemonJim and the Bears responded with 10 wins - good enough for 4th position on the ladder.
Skippers Matera92 and Dingster did the damage on the field and steadied the ship in the absence of the previous leadership. Dingster finished top 15 in tackles and was rewarded by finishing 6th in frees for. The more flashy of the duo, Matera92, finished top 10 in disposals and kicks.
SpaceClef backed up a strong rookie season finishing 10th in kicks and 14th in disposals.
Doctor Gero was the highest goal
scorer in the Fred of posters who dont share their name with the medal, kicking 63 goals. He was also the hero last round, sinking the boot into the Hawks
Avatarp had an underrated rookie season and we can look forward to more quality in the seasons to come.
