One doesn't require more than rudimentary eyesight to simply count AceAndy This might be why you never deploy a squadron of dragons pre-match

Here's a quote from a famous Dragon to digest:

You'll note that he doesn't include sharpness of senses, which, were they anything of note, would doubtless have been mentioned.

Now, as for a Bear....well....

Bears see in colour and have sharp vision close-up.
Their hearing is over twice the sensitivity of human hearing and exceeds human (and dragon) frequency ranges.
Their smelling ability is extremely good. Their nasal mucosa area is about 100 times larger than in humans (and dragons).
Navigation ability superior to humans (and dragons). Excellent long-term memory.

Plus, we have the usual assortment of death-giving apparatus....claws, teeth and dorsal mounted cannon.
