Official Match Thread Season 30 Round 9: West Coast Wonders vs Roys FFC at The Colosseum

Home team Wonders have been hit hard. Off-season departures and leadership re-structure have clearly unsettled the club, who have attempted to bolster the line-up somewhat by trading with the Swamprats for former captain haydo. What hasn't been dim for the club though, is their run of the weather conditions as they remain mid table in all tracked statistical categories. They even have the rub of the umpires, leading the league in free kicks for with a differential of +18. Not understating their personnel woes, rookie Elmer_Judd tops the club in disposals, whilst rookie captain Sab22 heads up the goal-kicking with 32 which is good enough for 4th in the league.

Away team Roys are sitting on possibly the form midfield of the competition with resident lunatic 3KZ is Football, half-hat wearer JackNah_8, sophomore PurpleGreenRed, and rookie Supersuns all averaging over 20 disposals per game. Mooch is quietly lurking too, sitting equal 5th on the Fred ladder with 29, and you know he's poised for another strike at the title in the late season. The Gorillas are yawning proudly with captain TedDougChris sensing leadership throughout the line-up, so much so he's not played the past two rounds and elected to coach from the box.
