Why should I be ashamed that manangatang & the Mt. Buller Demons have let Pickitt join the SFA?

He's not my team mate and has never been on the Furies list. We were one of the few clubs that didn't approach him after the SFA Tour because as a club we understood the risks. The same reason why we deliberately only traded for ImissFrosty during the mid-season trade.

However--- Pickitt is a member of the league and therefore the league should be mindful of that in the way we interact with one another. No differently than how the league should be mindful of things other people get upset about (whether that's alcoholism, recovering gambling addict, casual sexism, homophobia, etc.) Not everyone in the league has the same outlook on the world and I believe the league should maintain a posting standard consistent with what's socially acceptable in the wider community.

Pickitt 's persona has been discussed extensively across the league for the past 4 months--- it was even the main topic of multiple media threads during the trade week. Pretending that you aren't aware of his circumstances and thus excusing the disgusting sexualised comments directed towards him is pathetic.
