As I'm a lowly rookie I'd have no idea, but does the SweetFA struggle to find and keep players? Or are their too many wanting to play?

It's something that could be worked out but noone has really taken the time to figure out. The league by nature is cyclical because it's mostly people with a lot of time on their hands at home (empty nesters, late teens and uni students, etc.). serial_thrilla dropped a thread the other day showing posting activity over the last five seasons, the most active seasons of the board's history. On face value, there's enough for another team, maybe two.

Thanks for that, but how is it promoted? Even though I have a recent join date I had lurked for ages and had never heard of it. You get the tipping things and other stuff promoted on this site but not the SweetFA. Perhaps it has been though, I've just been conditioned to ignore any ads as there are too many everywhere these days.

I was contacted out of nowhere by JoshWoodenSpoon , he explained it to me how it is. But it is a hard sell.

JoshWoodenSpoon was very upfront and honest about it all. But when you tell someone you are playing in a team where the results are random it can be hard to get people involved. I'm glad I did though, I've met some great people most of which do not post elsewhere on the site.
