Previously on Masterchef Qooty, just six teams remain as the Wonders and Gumbies bowed out.

Now, a pressure test, two more teams will leave the Masterchef kitchen on Sunday. Who has it in them to cook the best semi final dish?

In the match of the round, two success-starved teams strive to survive another week. In a shock after a hot run of form this series, the Royals used their immunity pin last week in the qualifying challenge so will be desperately seeking to bounce back. The Bears however squeaked into finals and made the most of their opportunity, dispatching the Wonders easily. Can last season's runners-up go one better this season?

Meanwhile, in the other cook-off, the Swamprats are seeking to feast upon the Dragons. The Swampies will be shattered to be in an eliminator so quickly after spending just thee rounds outside the top-four. However, their good season means they could cash in their immunity pin for a second shot at it this week. The Dragons would be feeling confident having comfortably defeated the reigning premiers in consecutive weeks.

Whose souffle will rise for the occasion and who will be left with the soggy bottoms?

Find out on Sunday afternoon who makes it through to the penultimate challenge of the season to take on either the Old Boys or Roys.

Hello Bears! I'm excited to spend the week with you all. Although very disappointed at the same time.
I hear you on the disappointment. I posted something about that and expectations , and controlling the stuff you can control on Sunday. Unlike you though I’m grateful to have even made it this far .

Not sure how 1st v 8th (now 4th v 6th) got MOTR but I’ll take it

Hi Royals, I look forward to spending the week with you all in Gold City, but I won't be bowing down to you. The only Royal family I acknowledge are these guys.

Kate has already apologised for replacing the original heads with human heads, not much more she can do

It's actually summer over there in the UK so the green foliage actually looks plausible
The smile on Louis-munk's face says it all...

Hey chefs what's cooking

I’ve been invited to a murder of crows, so I’ve brought my killing weapon.

Surely I can’t have misinterpreted.

I still remember the (justified) controversy around his intolerant comments on a bodybuilding forum
Still, he seems to have grown as a person since then and like most people I felt bad for him when he was eliminated the second time around too

Why weren't you invited to my party?
Because you always take the cake

How are you? :)
Im pretty good.

Im multutasking at the moment- watching my 3 year old roll accriss the floor rather than sleep and typing inane posts on this thread.

How are you going?

Aww, that's sweet, and sounds like a relaxing end to the long weekend
By the way if you have a soft velvet carpet - nobody's ever too old for some floor rolling
I still don't have a couch thanks to delays in the production/transport and yet said velvet carpet has served me well

Otherwise I'm fine. Counting down until my triangular trip to Adelaide & Melbourne which will be my first non-work related trip in almost a year.
