I was a big fan of your show

Are you coaching The Bears now?

Not for much longer.

Looks like the team is speaking loud and clear Ted Lasso
Drop the blister or you may accompany him out in the desert.

We will do what we must.
Wow, Bears in crisis.

ant555 hasn't even rocked up to make them relive the season 27 GF yet.

Hey Rats and Bears alike,

Time to reminisce about some characters of our clubs from past days. Starting with MoOP. Played 104 games including 54 with the Swampies and 34 with the Bears. Was a real character! Who remembers MoOP and any stories?

It's only Tuesday - I reckon we have time to relive it at least once a day.

I stepped into the Bears' den as coach last season as we danced our way to a grand final, and it was quite the journey. But as you now see, it seems like the winds of change are blowing, and not everyone is on the same page.
But let me tell you something about Ted Lasso; I'm not here for the short run, I'm here for the long haul. The majority might be giving me the side eye right now, but I've got a pocketful of belief, a heart full of optimism, and a whole lot of love for this team.

Change is like planting seeds. You might not see the flowers right away, but with a bit of patience, care, and a sprinkle of positivity, they'll bloom and so will these Bears.

I also cited the algorithm earlier and also pointed out that the Gumbies continue to fly under the radar as reigning premiers . Falcon’s explanation about the algorithm was insightful.

But in truth, the Rats spent so much time getting disproportionately more sim success (both individual and team) that I don’t even blink when I see them listed
24/38 in the last 4 seasons, it's about time we started winning again.
These were the 4 seasons where I wasn't active. Coincidence? I think not...

Of course we're treating him well - the beatings will continue until morale improves.
Make sure he knows all the rules and as long as he keeps producing milk you can do what you like to him.

Haha, I was chatting with MP_ about MoOP in our matchthread a couple of weeks ago.

I remember him when I first joined the league as a team-mate, my very first post in the SFA, in the S17 team thread was replied to with a boo hiss:
Thank you. Let me begin by saying what an honour it is to be wearing the prison bar guernsey, instead of being behind prison bars where I have spent the last four years.
I would like to take this opportunity to deny in advance that I have ever taken performance enhancing substances, as will be proven by my performances in the forthcoming season. These marks on my arm are NOT needle marks. I was simply pruning and incinerating some plants in my garden yesterday and a branch fell on my arm. It initially caused me a great deal of pain, but the smoke of the burning flowers eased the sting.
I swear to lay off alcohol in preparation for a tilt at the premiership next season. From now on, I shall limit myself to a sixpack of roller doors a day, except for game days when I will refuse all imbibing until at least half time, and then the celebratory party that night and the following day when my limit will be...well...There are no limits to what we can achieve!
I cannot guarantee more than 40 disposals and 5 goals per game, but what I will promise is this: We will never, ever give up. Unless, of course we are 10 goals down at halftime, in which case we may as well hit the bottle in preparation for next week.
I would like to thank my wives, past and present, for their support - I will be home sometime next week, my loves. Also my children, known and unknown, whom I avoid as much as possible. Now, if you excuse me, I have a sudden attack of the munchies and I think I'll go get a yiros.

Boo, hiss, what's this restricting the alcohol and other substance indulgence? Poor form o_O
Back pocket for you :p

By the time I was active in S20, he was a Bear, and I remember taking exception to something he said about the Swamprats' first Crows recruit, NSWCROW . Or perhaps it was a slur on Phil Walsh, IDR. We got into an almighty spat that required mod intervention. Maybe I took it too seriously back then?

But I've always quoted him as one of my SFA influencers, and the place is poorer for his absence.

When he wound up and started flowing on the keyboard, the madness that followed was a thing of beauty
