What can I say, the flatheads were schooled up this week ladies and gentlemen. Round two saw Mt Buller take on the OOB’s at the Snow Dome this week and though the cold water usually shuts our flatty friends down I can confirm that this week it had the absolute opposite effect. 146 pages of epic flatheadery. So many options but I’ll limit it to the top 3. Let’s start with our first contender -
Irish BlueBagger : though on a different time zone our mate from the other side of the world posted like he was in another dimension. 253 posts at last count and some of them were more than one word too




















And so on and so forth. However, though Irish BlueBagger ’s head was flat it wasn’t flat enough for this weeks gong. Maybe another time IBB

Next up to the plate was everyone’s favourite comedian from the land of sweet , that’s right mad mad philreich who exposed the flatness of his dome with 102 dad jokes in a row (not to mention his usual sprinkling of crackers throughout the thread.) sorry Phil, not this round mate

And that brings us to our winner for round 2 for flathead of the week. Here’s a sample of how he won

There were many more flathead follies that ensued however there was a time when the FHOTW was in jeopardy for the young fella when King Tenz came storming into the thread acting like a 3 metery, it was shaky ground for the lad so I asked him to drop by the office and I gave him a pep talk. Here’s the transcript


Well that did the job. King Tenz was left in the boys wake as he got the spirit level out and made sure his head was flatter than the salt flats of Utah.

So there you have it , congratulations Robertio , I know you’re proud of this accomplishment and so you should be.

Round 3 vs The Las Vegas Bears

I’m not gonna lie, it was a tough one. Straight out of the gates Millky95 put in a bid for the gong but was soon surpassed by Senor M but then the bite went right off. Some say stale bait some say fish weren’t biting, I don’t know, got me stumped but that’s fishing. But then what’s this? Is it a nibble? Is there a little interest here in my craftily presented lure?

Round 4 vs The Furies - Well the waters were serene after the turbulent conditions against the Bears. The Furies didn’t disappoint however with flatheadery abundant particularly during the evening bite period. Our first nominee is Supersuns who decided the best tactic to avoid the honour of GHOTW was to suck up to the selection committee
