He has been putting them in the the team thread every Monday for 3 seasons.
I'm a teacher, so I'm all good in that regard. Although thankfully I don't drive a volvo, it turns out it's much tougher convincing a kid to get in the boot of a volvo.

Dear God what am I getting myself in for???
Hello Sweet, I trust this message finds you.
It seems as though the noble art of posting stats collation has gone the way of the DinoSoar, with around half of the teams in the SFA performing this activity. Those who did not were rightly called out by Mitch Buchanan last season, and the lack of posting stats at the the end of the season turns the wrangling together of the All-SFA team into even more of a shitshow than it should be.
So what's the solution? There was talk of creating a penalty for recalcitrant clubs, which I am totally on board with. Maintaining posting stats should be the responsibility of all club captains/captainss, and as one of them I would highly advocate for this activity to be completed by all of us. However we don't always get what we want, and even if we did it doesn't come in a centralised repository. OK some do, thanks to Hate and his statistical omnibus SweetFA+, but that doesn't (and shouldn't) account for posting stats.
So I am taking one for the teams and proposing to have the posting stats for season 39 collated in this thread. Here's how I will do it:
- At the start of each week (say Monday/Tuesday) I will check each club thread for any posting stats from the previous week, and transfer them to a combined posting stats spreadsheet that I will maintain,
- If clubs do not have these available when I do my collating, I will take the figures from the match threads and add them directly to the combined posting stats spready,
- I will then place an update each week in this thread with cumulative posting totals, averages, medians and number of rounds posted for each player, finishing at the end of the home & away season which can then be used for things like All-SFA selection, posting analysis threads and such and such.
Have I bitten off more than I can chew? Maybe, but if the other club captains be like Angelo above and do some of the chewing for me by posting their own stats then this will not be as onerous as it could be.
Enjoy the season!
