Teams Seattle Seahawks - The 12th Man

Just got around to watching the game and I have man crush on Kam. I wouldn't want to be on the end of one of his hits. The entire defence were awesome and I have been one of Maxwell's biggest critics but he had a fantastic match.

Offence is still a problem but we are some how getting points on the board. Should be an easy win this week and hopefully a shutout.

D were shit in the 1st half but the 2nd they were immense. Bobby was BOG for mine. The O line were shit at times but for the most part did an okay job. Britt is an idiot giving away the clipping penalty. It's probably the easiest call for the officials to make and gets called every time. It was nice to see another team get a shit load of penalties against them even if a couple were dubious. Our offence are still only going at about 70% IMO and Russell needs to start throwing more balls away so he takes less sacks.

Britt's pass pro is shithouse too. I swear every time I see Russ get sacked it's someone who's just blown by Britt with a minimum of effort.

On the topic of the offense though, it was nice to see the passing game open up finally. And especially nice to see Richardson get so many targets, with a couple of handy catches and the TD.

Amazing performance given what was on the line - probably our best of the year.

Beastquake R2 was amazing - give the many Skittles and as much money as he wants to stay next year

But playing a rookie QB will be very different to who we will be up against in the playoffs - all to play for next week, St Louis always give us one of the hardest matches of the year no matter where each team is on the ladder.

Still need the likes of Unger to be back in this line up.

Seahawks praise Marshawn Lynch after “one of the best runs ever”

Marshawn Lynch may be hearing from the league this week about the way that he chose to put an exclamation point on his 79-yard touchdown run against the Cardinals on Sunday night, but his Seahawks teammates were a bit more concerned about the journey to the end zone than the grab of the nether regions that punctuated his arrival at his destination.

Coach Pete Carroll called the run, which saw Lynch go through and around the Cardinals Defense before tip-toeing down the sideline and then exploding into top gear, as good as any he can remember seeing and defensive end Michael Bennett also put it in the top spot in his own personal memory bank.

“Twenty years from now we’ll go back and we’ll say that was one of the best runs ever in the National Football League,” wide receiver Doug Baldwin said, via the team’s website. “And in football period. From little league all the way up. You’ll probably never see anything like that ever again. And if you do, it’ll probably come from Marshawn.”

Cornerback Richard Sherman called Lynch a “bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, continue to say bad, man” and promoted Lynch as an MVP candidate with Sunday night’s run making up most of his case. That candidacy probably isn’t going to go anywhere, but the Seahawks stand a much better chance of having another Super Bowl MVP in their organization thanks to Lynch’s exploits on Sunday night.

The 2 beastquake runs side by side

Didn't watch the Cardinals game, but saw some live tweets and highlights. How bad were the 3 missed FG from Tukuafu? Was it windy or attempts from far out?

Hauschka is the kicker Seppo and they were ones that he usually kicks. He just had an off day.

Man, the beastquake one where he just throws that guy off with the stiff-arm has got to be the nastiest thing I've seen in American Football

wait, is that Tracy Porter? lol

Kam, Beast, Sherm, Earl and Bobby were all selected to the Pro-Bowl. Russell, Bennett, Okung, Hausch and Unger were named as alternatives although I don't see how they could have picked Max even as an alternative considering he has missed so much of the season.

Personally I think Cliff is extremely stiff to miss out as is K.J to an extent.

From PC's press conference:

Kearse has a grade 1 hamstring injury and is a chance but rather unlikely to play this week.

Tharold Simon has a shoulder and like Kearse is unlikely but a chance.

Okung has a bruised lung but practiced yesterday and is a good chance to play this week.

Unger may practice today but they are still unsure when he will be back.

Helfet has a cracked rib and is basically a game day decision.

Moeaki practiced yesterday although he didn't mention whether he'll play this week. If he practiced I'd assume he'll play.
