I don't know how we are favourites...............we played 5 minutes of football on Sunday.

I thought we had no chance last year - I still don't think we will win (too many odds against us). If the Pats didn't destroy the Colts like they did, I would be more confident.

I'm not overly confident- mind you I said the same thing last year. Our offence still gives me concern and I'm not sure we will be able to put up enough points.

It's all about your D-Line doing what the G-Men did to Brady… TWICE.

Seahawks wiped the Broncos last year in the same manner. Brady is human. He can be rattled (ask the Jets). Colts D couldn't cope in the second half. It was 14-7 HT last week in the AFC CC.

I don't think the Pats are getting overconfident this time around. They know their hopes all depend on their O-line giving Brady time. Seahawks are renown for their D and even though Sherman & Thomas are nursing injuries, it'll be up to the rest of their teammates to STAND UP and not give anyone an excuse to say 'banged up D'.

As for confidence...I don't know.

The interesting thing is that Wilson might actually get time in the pocket. The thing about the Patriots' build is that the closest thing it has faced to a mobile QB in the vein of Wilson is...Geno Smith.

The closest thing they have faced recently was the Panthers in 2013...where they lost 24-20.

Schematically I don't think it's that easy to adapt to Wilson. The teams that play him best are in the division - the Rams, for example. The Pack played him well because they had already faced him once. It's one thing studying it on film, it's another executing when you cross the white line.

If Wilson gets time, Seattle wins.

I'm a bit concerned about how flexible the Pats' offensive scheme can be; running 40 times one week and 4 times the week before. It makes it difficult to plan for. Having said that; starting slowly has been a feature of our team in the Carroll era and he seems to relish half-time adjustments so we'll see.

I wish some analyst would do an Xs and Os article on Pete's half-time adjustments. I have yet to see one, and you know it has to be a huge part of our second half proficiency. Pete doesn't get the gameday coaching recognition he deserves.

The most apt description I've heard of Seattle's phenomenal second half record is that they're like the raptors in Jurassic Park, testing the fence in the first half before they bust out and wreak havoc in the second. (And technically, Seahawks ARE raptors!)

Peter King from SI/MMQB has written a breakdown article of the game the way t's suppose to be done and he does mention it was a 'nerve racking pick' so don't hold him to that but the rest is quite spot on. Kearse will be pleased to continually be underrated - underappreeciated / overlooked. Tim Wright for the Pats is a guy who isn't getting a mention. I expect him to be on the end of a Endzone pass by Brady or maybe I should say Edelman.
