Opinion Select the 2010 State of Origin sides on club form

The Age recently selected a hypothetical Victorian side based on club form so far this season.

Say if State of Origin was still around at this time of year, who'd make these teams based on the form the players have shown so far this year: Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia, Tasmania, NSW-ACT, Queensland.

The formula for a State team selection is as follows:

*4 interchange
*4 emergencies

Good call on Sandilands - I was trying too hard to avoid making the team look like Freo lite.
I stand corrected on Vince also - he is a Croweater.

Absolute dearth of key forwards makes babby jesus cry - I'd put Studley or Hoff() there but that would go against the form stipulation (ie Chad has played exclusively as a defender, Hoff almost entirely as a wingman).

Observations: Awesome...scary. Every line is loaded with talent and particularly up forward and in the engine room. How strong? Had to slide Selwood running off half back. Nuts. Geelong dominate in selection. The defence is pretty unreal too.

Observations: Ageing champs like McLeod and Burton (like Cousins in WA) have to make way. Forward line looks very exciting, I don't think SA have the midfield depth of WA and Victoria.

Who would win? WA would beat SA pretty well. Victoria would murder whoever they would play and even as a West Aussie - I have to admit watching this sort of team play would be a treat.
