Nah, yotr was young and informative back then. These days I see him as a bouncer at a club, just waiting for someone to **** up so he can throw them out.
Informative? Hey screw you, get out.

75. Followed North since 1952

As the song goes, although not the car that inspired it, being the Buick Roadmaster hearse, that belonged to Neil Young, "Long may you run". Nice to feel young next to you, Franjon. I'm sure you and a few other of us old timers identify with these lyrics.

We've been through
Some things together
With trunks of memories
Still to come
We found things to do
In stormy weather
Long may you run.

Long may you run.
Long may you run.
Although these changes
Have come
With your chrome heart shining
In the sun
Long may you run.

Well, it was
Back in Blind River in 1962
When I last saw you alive
But we missed that shift
On the long decline
Long may you run.

Long may you run.
Long may you run.
Although these changes
Have come
With your chrome heart shining
In the sun
Long may you run.

Maybe The Beach Boys
Have got you now
With those waves
Singing "Caroline No"
Rollin' down
That empty ocean road
Gettin' to the surf on time.

Long may you run.
Long may you run.
Although these changes
Have come
With your chrome heart shining
In the sun
Long may you run.

Where is The Other Dean when you need him?

Who were you at the time? Stam was diego_forlan, Christiano Ronaldo and other assorted Man UTD players.
Yeah there was cr7, sexiano ronaldo, etc. just something about your posting made me think nandrolone was you. Amateur detective stuff, back when I was a spritely EVW/Jmac .

Roobear in answer to your question btw.

I reckon the early posters on this board mailed in their posts (you know, with stamps and envelopes) and the ladies in the BF typing pool typed them up and loaded them. Back then you were also allowed to say "ladies in the typing pool" without getting shot like a Willem Dafoe in Platoon.

48 in a couple of weeks.

Sheesh. Now you've made me feel like a creepy old dude for liking that sultry Alicia Silverstone picture someone posted in another thread (which may or may not have been deleted now...)
Creep away Old Dude!

How old is Jisse W Smuth?

You're thinking with your pole rather than of the poll Tas.

Deadset?

Yeah.

One was in my year, the other (fascist bully boy) was in the year above.

I was in cadets and older Tobin was my section leader. He was full on.

His younger brother was a bit of a hopeless case but looking back he was probably a bit stressed out by his brother, who was over the top. Mid post I just checked the website and someone with the same name as the guy i went to school with works with the company. I presume its him.

There seems to be an over representation of late 40 somethings on this board. I assume that's because their first footy memories were from the mid 70s. I still remember the sense of shock that I felt as a young lad when we lost the 1979 prelim as we had played in GFs literally for as long as I could remember up until that point.

The late 40s cohort was also of prime mid to late 20s partying age when we ruled the roost in the 90s. I've said it before and I'll say it again - good times.

I used to get a cup of tea and a biscuit for Shinboners and Carlos and the other senior men. Still high from the gestetna fluid when we had a big day of posting.
