I admitted that i was a biased qld'er from the outset... though, Kasprowicz is 31, 2 years older than Williams and another few older than Bracken. On form & merit he deserves to be there as much as the other 2.

I agree, I cannot believe Kasper ain't selected ahead of Williams or Bracken, he had Test match experience and clearly one of the best fast man in the land.

They picked Bracken coz they think he'd swing it, he didn't swing it today and he looked innocous.

Williams was just plain sh*t.

What the **** has Kasprowicz done in the past 5 years for his name to be talked up for Australian selection again?

If this test is a loss or a draw, going back to him would be a major step backwards

Wright, McDonald, Rofe or Wise (and White for MacGill) should be thrown in to see if they can sink or swim (but all don't have the magic NSW after their names  )

They're finally using the horses for courses policy, not just talking about it. The MCG pitch suits Bichel least out of the 4 quicks. IMO it was between Bichel and Williams for 12th man duties and Williams is more threatening. Bichel's performance in Adelaide could almost have saved him but I think his international career is just about over. Wouldn't surprise me if he doesn't play for Australia again, especially if Dizzy returns for Sydney.

Having said that, I would've made Martyn 12th man for this match and played the 4 quicks.

Hmmm, Bichel's test bowling average in Melbourne is 19.33 and is over 30 at every other Australian ground where he has played test cricket.

The hits just keep on coming. Now, they've seen fit to drop Bichel for the boxing day test.

What the **** is wrong with the Australian selectors?

After yesterday's performance I was laughing. The selectors drop the best bowler in the last test for no reason. Even today, Williams and Bracken should not be in this side. Still, they selected Lee to make a goose of himself so the selectors have no idea.

Bichel should have been there
