I present the modern day Richmond supporter...

Yep. And another one.

Hopefully our supporters exiting North Port Oval this afternoon aren't exposed to any violence, unlike the scenes in East Melbourne after the game (and a win!) the other night.

Don't put us into that class mate. That bloke is a shit stain on humanity and wouldn't be allowed near any Tiger circles.

Thought you guys were the best side in it all day. All the best for the rest of your campaign.

Yes I dont know how can cope playing in an “AFL” preliminary final in 2 weeks smfh. Considering you have been irrelevant for 12 years must be easy to claim mediocrity as some form of glory
What's the 1994 stand for? Cant be year of birth

don't back pedal and try and be friendly now
Fine, hope your team gets smashed next week in humiliating fashion,

Nah in all seriousness, hope you beat Casey because i am sick of the demon wankfest already.

Good luck next week, woops back pedalling, bad luck instead :D

Richmond supporters continuing to show zero self awareness or sense of humour aside that is an exceptionally good win because the VFL doesn't always present the most even playing field.

To be missing Ambrose, Redman, Luenberger and McKernan who have been VFL mainstays for a large portion of our VFL pushes into finals for a number of years, end up losing 3 players to injury mid game and still win it is an amazing result.

Especially considering Richmond had Brandon Ellis, Anthony Miles and Sam Lloyd out there who as players with significant AFL experience should have dominated but didn't because our kids out worked and out played them.

In all seriousness though, technically Hind should've been called HTB as the rule stands.

Given the significant amount of time afforded to players regarding this nowadays (a full 360 in possession isn't always enough) this aspect of the rule needs looking at.

We went through this with McKenna last season; there isn't any rule except that a bounce counts as possession and there's huge misunderstanding/grey area because of the 'Bartlett" rule/interpretation discussed lots in the 80s that then become accepted wisdom but not a rule. Even the umps (I've now spoken to 3 about it) aren't clear on how it should be paid....

Those umpires should give it away.

If you bounce while a opponent has hold of you its HTB.
