I knew I had seen this thread before.

It's quite amusing how everyone sat back and bagged this caller. But what was the best thing that anyone on the forum could do? Send in a text.

WOW.

Also it appears people were bagging him for his comments re Lachie Hansen.

Funny how those same people have changed their tune now....

OK, now here is the thing.

Why am I a tool? Please respond, don't insult. Just tell me why you think I am a tool

You're a tool because your only contributions to this board have been criticisms of players. You're an extra tool because your criticisms are ignorant and baseless. A super-tool because you feel the need to defend another clueless tool who does more harm than good in speaking about our club in public.

You're a tool if you think Hansen doesn't try. Ever hit a fence so hard that you got whiplash?

Tool.

OK then. We are great. Happy? It is only bad luck and shit umpires that stop us winning flags. We are great. Great disposal. Rawlings, Pratt and co are terrific by foot.

Get back to reality...

Thats one one of the problems with this forum. You guys who live on here, think that anyone who doesn't post every five mins is an irrelevant tool who has no idea.

Some of us have a life, but occaisionally feel the need to vent.

So just relax guys, this whole thing is about opinions, we are all entilled to one.

At the same time many of those that do not post often but then come on to vent do so without offering anything other that the old 'LT is shit' and 'Hansen = Dud'. No other discussion than negative criticism. Those that post often tend to like to explore reasons for performance, and not just berate players as there is often more going on than just missing shots for goal. If you look at it that way you can see why there is a strong reaction to reactionary posting.

I too have a life, a very good one too mind you, and post regularly but that doesn't mean that I feel the need to come on here and be snide towards other regular posters for their posting activity.

Opinions are a great thing, but to express a strong one without any explained rational in a community of those who like to discuss all things NMFC is inviting strong responses. I have rarely witnessed any rational poster be belittled by others on this board and when I have there has inevitably been others jump to their support. In short, if you want to post and not be called a tool, post intelligently and with a rationale behind your post and you will probably not be called a tool.

Opinions are like a-holes, everyone's got one!

Winning, on and off the field, solves everything doesn't it?

The boys ought to get it together to beat the Crows, at least for Boomer's sake.

Bingo. Absolutely spot on.

Excellent post.
