Got my other horse having its first start today, Surat District at Bendigo race 3. $7.50 is a bit short ideally we get 10s at the jump.
He’s a deadset mile and a half horse, typically Savabeel.
His trials were better than they appear and he will be rocketing home we hope.
Trent thinks he won’t win, but not that he can’t, I don’t personally rate the field either.

Another one is the other stable I’m involved with, Batters racing, they have March as One in race 5 at the Sunny Coast,he’s at $15, small field, and looks the only leader with the rail out that far as well.
He’s an outstanding E/W bet and the horse is really really well.

Nat threw his name up as a Derby horse during the week, good luck 👍

Trainer Ciaron Maher is optimistic about the colt’s form, noting that Southport Tycoon has returned “bigger and stronger” and is thriving after his latest race. “He’s very keen to go to the Manikato,” Maher shared, highlighting the colt’s potential for a big spring campaign.

I wonder how many other trainers consult with their horses like this.
