Manikato barriers announced. IWIW drawn 12. Hayasugi with the 50kg and barrier 2 combo.

Might be time for a 3 year old to beat the older horses.

if it is it wont be Hayasugi. The Moir form will not hold up. Mornington Glory is a group 3 horse at best. Growing Empire, Chain of Lightning. Veight and IWIW top picks. I am not worried about IWIW's barrier unless its a dire leaders track again.HGe would have ended up back and cluttered up with an inside barrier anyway.

The only worry is the speed, if they go slowish IWIW will find it hard to run over the top of them. but if they go really fast he is a moral

Cant back Hayasugi cos the Moir form is shit but can be with IWIW and Chain of Lightning who were beaten by Hayasugi in the Moir...

Both arent 1000m horses.
1000m is a specialist distance. The Manikato will be a different kettle of fish.

Every reason to think Hayasugi will be better at 1200m too though. Just seems ridiculous to pen her because she came through the Moir which your top picks also came through and then chuck in the other 3yo who is coming through poxy 3yo form
